Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1952 Willy Rock Crawler Project. Has great start, I have way more in it than this. New 33″ x 12.50 x 15 Trexxus tires on Aluminum modular wheels. Has 1993 Chevrolet 4.3 liter V6 needs the wiring finished. Has Racing Seats, fuel cell, Centerforce clutch, hydrolic clutch setup. $1500.00.”

“no title. good tires running 302 ford with willys 3 speed and tcase. it will need a battery and seats. need some wiring for lights. engine runs but needs to be tuned, but does run,drive and stop. i have a tow bar for it. bring 2″ ball and safty chains. $800 make offer i want it gone.”

(05/24/2010) Besides a restorer’s touch, this needs a restorer’s bankroll.
“1951 Willys Jeep for someone into restoring autos… This guy has been sitting under cover but needs a restorers touch. I am selling this for my landlords.. original asking price was $1500 but the landlord has come to their senses and is letting me sell it for $700…. This fella needs to find a new home asap…. I really want him out of my garage!!!”

“I am going to sell my 48 CJ2A in order to restore a 3A I have been wanting to rebuild for some time. This jeep is in very good condition. Original 4cyl 3 speed. with NDT tires and rims including mounted spare. Solid jeep not perfect condition but very nice. Jeep RUNS and DRIVES. Starter is acting up and fuel lines could be flushed as it has set in a shed for two years but was licensed and on the road in 2006/2007. I also ran recently with gas through carb. Belonged to an older gentleman who fixed up to drive in parades. Couple spots in floor board(Small)and one wear mark on drivers side paint but very good. I havent seen a cleaner original split windsheild frame and I have seven jeeps. Jeep has obviously been repainted at one time but nicely done and no visible bondo. Clean tailgate, frame, body ect. Possibly willing to help deliver at purchasers expense. Clean nebraska title with original serial num. and plate If you have questions, call me 308-325- 2858. No scammers I have more pics but serious interests only.”
