This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The seller lists this as a 1955, but then notes it is a GPW.
“I have a project jeep for sale here. It is an original ford willy’s jeep. Yes a ford. We rebuilt the tranny years ago and made the gas tank but never put it back together.”
This has been modded a bit.

This appears to be an early GPW since I don’t see the indent on the top of the GPW grille.

This is a no reserve auction with a starting price of $600. It appears there is $600 worth of value here.
“Has new leaf springs and shocks. Leafs were put over axles to lift jeep. Reinforcement will be needed for steering from leaf over axle change. Changed from manual fuel pump to electric fuel pump. Engine runs but needs fuel pump modification for correct fuel intake. I did drive jeep before parking 3 years ago. I just don’t have the time to keep the project going.”

(05/03/2010) “46 willys jeep project has no motor/tranny/transfer, but body is complete and has a hard top with doors, the body is tore apart and the floor has been cut out to be repaired, i do have the title, call or e-mail for pictures”
