About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a 1948 willys jeep with original title. its in rough shape but would make a great project. I have it in pieces right now but I have all the parts. I have 4 new rims and tires that go with it. motor runs 4×4 works just needs a lot of TLC. clean title alone is worth more than $500”
“I recently purchased this truck to keep as a toy, but I have decided on another project that I did not plan for and need to sell this one ASAP. It is a 1953 Willys truck showing 80,710 miles and has a flatbed in solid useable condition. Engine is an old style original and appropriate 283 Chevy V8 conversion with headers, Cherry Bombs and stacks – so your neighbors will know when you arrive home at 2am! It also has a Warn OVERDRIVE split transmission which is a rare and desireable option and on the dash it says “Warn Overdrive” on a sticker that looks to be original condition. It also has nice bucket seats, good glass, rear hitch and rare cab top clearance lights. Really good condition for 57 years old, solid and not a rust bucket! Has had the rockers, floors and a few places patched. It runs and drives but will need the fuel tank cleaned out and possibly a replacement electric fuel pump. I have only driven it about 50 feet onto my trailer since I have owned it so I don’t know how it goes down the road. Tires have lots of tread and hold air fine, but they have some dry cracking. Surprisingly most everything worked on it – the heater, the window cranks and has both wiper motors that need a little attention. It is by no means a restored truck, but complete enough to do a lot better with and make less ratty.”
This is a no reserve auction on a nice looking, though modified, GPW.
“For sale is a 1943 Ford GPW jeep.It has been modified and sports a V6 (Dauntless odd-fire) engine, Saginaw steering and a rear mounted fuel tank. Full top from Best Top. Good brakes, new master cylinder. The jeep is drivable but needs a carb workover as it runs somewhat rough. Frame is rust free and the frame number matches the data plates. Body appears solid.”
(07/05/2010) This has some updates and needs a little work, but it might not be a bad price.

“This is a 55 Willys Jeep CJ5 with bikini top. It has a good strong 350 engine, a 4.11 Dana 44 rear axle with posi rear end. The transmission is a T-18 Toploader 4-speed. It has a Spicer transfercase and nice large new 31 X 12.5 X 15 TSL Bogger tires. I also have a spare set of rims, tires & off road lights that can go with it. $3000 Please call 830-9597”
This is very cool, though the seller is a bit off on their history. I’d like some better pics.

“1946 Willys CJ-2A project for sale. It is in pieces and needs some time. I’m the 2nd owner and have had it for 10 years. It was orginally purchased in Belt MT. Missing transmission, tailgate and some various engine parts. I was going to put in a newer engine and never finished it. Has a metal half cab, 16″ rims and an extra set of 15 in rims/tires.”
