Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The seller notes this is “rust free” and has “0 rust”. But, I’m pretty sure surface rust counts as rust?? But if it runs and drives well, it looks like a good price.
“This is a 63 or 64 CJ3B for sale. It has a strong motor that has a rebuilt carb, new tune up, updated electircal,new brakes all around, new oil and brand new windshield. Drives and stops like a jeep tires should be replaced but still can be used for driving around town. Based on the pics, I’d have to say this looks very good. I have little doubt this seller has built other jeeps. If someone completes this well, it should look great.
“I have for consideration my 1948 Willys Jeep. This is not your average Jeep for the faint hearted. I have built this from the ground up and have been building and modifying Jeeps for years. This is a brand new body tub from Willys Overland and I have the original tub as well. 400hp fuel injected 302, c4 transmission, dana 20 transfercase, super dana 30 front with eaton electric locker, open dana 44 rear, new rims and tires, and I am sure to forget something in this list. This is not far from being back on the road again. will need exhaust, guages, drivelines, plug wires, fuel tank, and the small stuff. There are alot of accesories that go with this so don’t let this great little project get away. I don’t want to trade for anything, and I am firm on my price. This looks good and mostly stock. It appears this is missing headlights? Something doesn’t quite look right.

These don’t appear very often. I’m not sure how easy, or not, they are to import into the US.

It has a professionally installed dual tank fuel system which means it can run on diesel or vegetable oil. The system was professionally installed and runs exceptionally well. (05/16/2010) These aren’t too common and this one looks nice. I think this is as good of price as you’ll find.
“This is a one of a kind! Mitsubishi right hand drive. This jeep was made in Japan. Street legal, with current tags and clean title. Good shape, runs great. F134 motor 4 cylinder. Great jeep for hunting & fishing in the back country. Brand new 8,000 lb electric winch. Half and full tops. 5 mud terrain tires with less than 1000 miles on them. Off road lights, 2 front and 1 rear. Three speed. If you want a 16 foot car trailer with it, add another $1,000 to price.”
