About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Glenn shared this militarize CJ-2A. This would fool most people into thinking it was a WW2 jeep.
“1946 Willy’s MB-2A. Basically what we have here is a 1946 CJ2A that was completely modified to a Willy’s MB. The motor, transmission and chassis is CJ, the body and all accessories are MB. This was a 2018 frame up restoration, frame is solid, body and accessories are new. Runs and drives, everything works with the exception of speedometer and fuel gauge, however I have those new and ready to be installed. For a complete list of everything I did and for more photos, please email me or call, there’s simply too much to list. While I can be a *little* flexible, I know how much these are worth, I know how much money I have into it and I know how many of these are floating around out there so keep that in mind when you are looking at my price, no trades please, all accessories included, machine gun as well (it is not a real machine gun) thanks.”
I found this brochure on eBay. It’s the first time I’ve seen this version. The form number is 4-66, which I believe means it was published in April of 1966.
Under the things-I-didn’t-know, Ann tells me that folded material into shapes is 1) a thing and 2) is called a “cake”. To wit, she spotted this jeep made from folding diapers and material together (no glue). This is certainly more clever than if I tried to make a jeep using diapers and material.
From the Facebook Post: “A Jeep diaper cake for a new Mom!! She loved it and doesn’t want to take it apart!! LOL!! 10 washcloths, 6 blankets, 2 bottles, 1 pair of socks, 1 medicine dropper, and 55 diapers. I never use glue!”
“1946 CJ2A (Project) Willy’s Jeep. All original with extra parts. I also have a convertible windshield for it and an extra front bar. Will be cleaning it up more and more and updating photos. One owner, passed down from my grandfather, have all original info. Needs a tune up, and some fresh tires but as of right now hasn’t been ran in a decade or so. Will run and drive with a little love. Located in Banks, Oregon.”
“Beautiful 1955 Jeep Willys frame off restoration, only 753 miles since it was restored. Has a Buick V6, 3 speed manual, everything is new. Warn winch. This is a show vehicle. Price is firm. Might consider trade offers, no junk please. Serious inquiries only!”
“All original. Super Hurricane motor. 3 speed transmission. Runs and drives. There is some rust on driver rocker but overall in decent shape for its age”
“1950 CJ3A Clean clear Title in my name. Tons of new parts. Partially restored by previous owner. Runs Drives shifts stops as it should. This isn’t mint by any means it’s rattle can painted it has dings & scratches it’s not showroom but could easily be with some love. There’s no rust and it has an actual title! It will need a wiring harness and gages/lights/whipers but it was driven around locally last summer! Considering thinning the heard. Price out what a new tub cost alone! If you want to ask a million questions come take a look and take it for a spin. It’s a 72 year old Jeep!
New Tub, New Seats/brackets/foam/covers, New gas tank, New exhaust, New water pump, New hoses, New gaskets here and there, New Spark plugs/wires, New brakes, F+R New Springs/Shocks/Shackles (5), New tires, New body mounts, New battery bracket, 12v converted.”
David spotted this jeep. It includes a hardtop. Curiously, this chassis has the front reverse shackles, suggesting that either the jeep is earlier than 1958 (though it has the later SW 0-9 speedo or that the frame might not be original to the body. A close inspection is necessary on this one.

John shared this online auction for a VEC? CJ-2A with a column shifter. It doesn’t appear to have had indents, so this may be in the 3XXXX serial number range.
