This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Paul made good progress recently with the radiator installation. I’ll let him explain …
Paul writes, “During the past few days I’ve been busy scrounging metal, making parts and playing with the welder but the end result is the Willys has an M 151 radiator installed along with a V type firewall to radiator brace and a hood hold open rod. I also picked up my new radiator from the local military surplus yard in addition to a used shroud and the necessary lower mounts. The new radiator will reside safely in the house until it’s time to be installed after I quit taking things apart for modifications and redesigns but the size of this radiator is just about perfect for the room available under the hood. I’ll have to spend some time at the local autoparts store mixing and matching coolant hoses before the engine is plumbed to the radiator and I also have to go shopping for a low profile electric fan (a puller is what I’m hunting for) but both of these tasks can be solved with reasonable amounts of money so I’m feeling pretty good with my progress so far. ”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500
The seller of this modded Jeep won’t be done with it until it completes one final trip.
“46 willys,west coast rust free rig.The only stock parts are the frame,and body.Rebuid 1962 buick 198 V-6,fresno california speed shop,sm420 trans,power brakes,power steering,disk brake dana 30 front,rear dana 44.16 gallon fuel cell.This rig is on a road trip from oregon to alabama,will be running in nevada offroad for about 300 miles,will be in moab utah next week,heading to new mexico,end of march,be in alabama mid part of april,will be selling end of road trip.$5500.00 firm.”

This is nothing fancy, but appears solid.
“1951 willys cj3a, rebuilt motor in 04′, body sprayed with bed liner, inside, outside and underneath, frame sand blasted and painted, 9k winch mounted on front, works great, needs brake shoes, which i have, and carb kit, which i have, although it still runs fine, and a bunch of extra parts, which will go with the willys, doesn’t use oil, 4 wheel drive works great, used it at my cabin in the Adirondack mnts, sold cabin, no need for willys, ”
Here’s an unusual toy.
“Toy peddle jeep – small restoration project. Peddle power only 0cc engine, so no tunning. Air conditioned. Requires abit of loving restoration. very light. Sold as seen. Will post. Must have Jeep of the year.”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $1800.
“I have a 63 Willys Wagon. It has the flathead 6cyl, 3spd trans, and all stock running gear. I was told it had been used in the Army but I have no proof of that. It does have a military data plate on the dash so it was used by some branch of the military early in its life. It was originally highway department yellow. My guess would be that it served on an air field or maintenance department for the Army or Air Corps. It runs and drives great and has a pretty decent body compaired to most of the other wagons I’ve seen. It has stock wheels and fairly new tires. It has the factory wooden slats still in the bed. THE BAD It does not have any brakes, and it has no title but I will provide you with a bill of sale. It was owned by a hunting club in AR and they never titled it. It is possible to obtain a title. Jeep is located in Paducah, KY and I’ll take $1,800 cash for it.”
