This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This comes with some body parts. This might be a good price and a good foundation for an early build.
“This is a restored 1948 or 1949 Willys CJ3A rolling chassis with transmission, transfer case, front and rear axles and driveshafts. Frame has been sandblasted down & repainted, new brake lines and shocks. Has DJ3A fuel tank added in the rear of the frame. Comes with firewall, windshield frame, hood and grill from a DJ3A. No other sheet metal available. No engine.”

“I got it from the ORIGINAL OWNER!!!!!! need some work, it has some easally repairable rust in teh front floorboard. I can fix it for a very resaonable cost (the right way, no hack job) or you can. its been in dry storage its whole life. chevy small block w/3speed and Warn overdrive. I also have a Jeep (buick) 225 v-6 w/ t-14 3spd and dana 20 transfercase from a commando that can go with it. It would not take much at all to have this thing on the road (or off the road). wiring is all there converted to 12 volt. drivetrain is all intact. I have the windshield (cracked) and top w/doors that are not in the photos. needs some brakes work. the roll bar is also frame mounted.
Make me an offer, please be reasonable because it is not very often you run across an original owner jeep of this era. I might, just maybe, possably take PART trade on this (totota stuff,chevy stuff ,tires, or running car, or something REALLY interesting)……but only maybe part trade. I do not want to sell thsi it is my dream jeep (especially when done) but I started a new business and need the $$$$$ Thanks for looking. email is the best way to get ahold of me right now.”

This is a project with some extra parts, including a winch. This might be a good find for the right person.
“66 jeep comando all there needs to be finished many many extra parts (2 transfer cases dashes windows much more )frame blasted and painted motor gone thru(5 years ago started but never driven)new tires new wiring harness repair manuals body blasted rust removed commercial coating applied needs work {new floor pans etc} Lost job can’t finish good project must take all of it won’t separate”

“I have for sale a Willys Jeep CJ3A. The jeep has some rust. The jeep will run but has connection issues with the battery. I drove to where it is sitting now. The front end needs work. Bearings are shot. It has original flathead engine with T90 transmission. All works great. tires are good bfg all terrains size 31×10.5×15. Asking $1700 obo.”

“i got a 53 willys pickup with a flat bed on it. the body is in very good shape for its age. i have too many projects and this one is the newest and i have yet to touch. so it has to go. starts right up with a 283 V8, brakes and steering need to be looked at and will be street able, with little work. i have it stored at a friends house for viewing, so please only serious inquires only… i have the pink slip in hand. forgot to add this is a 4×4 and it works. $1700 obo!!! i only have one picture available but email and i can get more…”

The seller would like to trade a motorhome for this.
“This Jeep will start up. It isnt ready to drive yet. comes with 2 extra hoods, brand new tires, extra flat head motor. has the windshield no cracks in the glass. Title on hand. On the registration it has on it the prev-plt number that is GMV*** and Prev title # and it also says the prev. State is WA. when doing research on it i found the month is it was made was July 1945. Will trade for a running, working Motorhome. this means i am able to get in it and drive and use all the items inside. I am not willing to take any junked out motorhomes. Here are some pics. If you want a pic of a certain area let me know. And NO i did not pain this, i bought it this way .. so please excuse the VERY bad paint job.”
