About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Those appears to be the mudflaps hanging from the back.
“NO TITLE, Serial Number 88306, Drive train is fine (axels, trans, engine, brakes, transfer case) has PTO with no lever or propeller shaft. Good oil pressure. It’s a parts jeep, but note the solid steel rims. This may be a good price.

Includes antlers? Maybe you get the “it’s a jeep thing” sign on the back as well?
“In the vicinity of a 1947 Jeep Willys that runs great around the farm with at least one forward gear + reverse; 6 cyl Buick engine; have another Jeep, (not pictured) similar age as well , stock engine and all gears – contact:”
“1946 Willys CJ-2A. Original drivetrain with flathead four cylinder engine. Clear AZ title, not registered. Body has some rust but it has mostly been repaired (needs paint).
Comes with towbar, removeable shade (golf cart top that clamps to the roll bar), and service manual.
Many upgraded and/or new parts within last several years (the Jeep has rarely been used during this time):
– Transmission (three speed) and transfer case rebuilt
– Steering box rebuilt with all new parts, one-piece tie rod conversion, new steering wheel
– Brand new gear-reduction starter
– 12V electrical system with GM alternator, headlights work
– Flush-mount taillights installed but not hooked up
– Carburetor rebuilt, adjustable fuel pressure regulator
– 7.00-15 tires (much easier to find then original 6.00-16)
– Rebuilt master cylinder, and new wheel cylinders
– Re-lined transmission parking brake and new cable (comes with it but not installed yet)
I have owned it for eleven years and used it for hunting and four-wheeling. It could be made street-legal fairly easily, but with 60 hp, 9″ brakes and 5.38 gears it is much better suited for off-road use.
I am selling it because I no longer use it and have too many vehicles. I will consider offers, and will also consider a trade for a big quad or a smaller RV travel trailer (no cars or trucks, etc). Please respond via craigslist or call Al at 490-1963. I can send several other pictures upon request.”
