Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This CJ-2A deal includes an unusual trailer. This appears to be a good price.

Here’s a great price on a fine looking CJ-2A.
“1947 WORLD WAR II WILLYS JEEP (RUNS) COMPLETE WITH AN ALUMINUM TOP AND DOORS”
This might not be a bad price.
“1947 Jeep cj2a in great running shape. Body ok. Rebuilt engine. Almost new tires never been on pavement. Used for pulling dock/boat in at cabin. New front end, brakes reworked. 12 volt change over.”

This looks cleaned up and ready to hit the road.

Maybe it has an overdrive? I don’t see a great deal of value otherwise.

This is a great price. I assume the windshield is from a hard top.

The price isn’t bad, but the body sounds like it is bad.
“Serial Number in the 17,000’s so it’s EARLY. Has the column shift, has the tool indents and the pockets on the side. Motor sputtered a little bit, I pulled the carb and starter off for another jeep. Floors are gone, and the passenger quarter is rough. Rest is decent. Tranny has PTO. 1200 obo, or trade for pre 1965 cars and parts. Looking mainly for pre 1955 ford parts.”
