About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

This a totally restored Jeep the original owner invested over $30,000 everything is rebuilt are replaced. You have to see it to believe it. All original drive train with a add on overdrive, that adds 10% to top end. That’s the extra stick you see in the floor with the 4 wheel drive. It has a new body, that wasn’t prepped right and the paint is peeling in some places. I have all the receipts pictures of a the rebuild. New springs tires brake steering box and all steering linkage new steering wheel seats gas tank total drive train rebuilt new wring 12 volt new radiator. New top and doors, electronic ing.
I hate to sell it but I’m getting to old to get in and out of it. I learned to drive on a 1948 on the farm Dad traded the 48 for a 1952 which he kept until 1967. Needless to say this is memory lane for me, when I saw it I had to have it. I hope whoever gets it has the same thrill.
I have recently install the blocks on hood for the wind shield when it is layed down.”
“Rare Jeep model FC170 4WD – DUAL DRIVE Project. I don’t have time to finish this JEEP project. It already has a Chevy 350 engine, 700R4 transmission, tilt steering, bucket seats (plus original seats) windshield and rear glass, B&M shifter, Lokar gas pedal linkage, radiator, carb, pullies, drive shaft components, extra fenders, front brakes, and much more.
We just have to many projects at this point to finish this rare 1962 Jeep FC170.”

Doesn’t smoke, runs and idles good. 4wd and 4 low works. Runs on 12 volts but Needs a alternator or put back to 6 volt. Some lights work but not all. May be interested in trades.”
“1952 M38 Willys Jeep – last of the flat fender military jeeps, period motor not currently running. Everything is intact nothing missing Jeep is still 24V original, zero rust. Clean Florida title”
The tub looks in very good shape. I would guess the seller is correct, that this is an older lightweight California tub similar to one I had from the 1970s. ‘$1200 gets you everything. $1000 just gets you the tub.
“We have available a fiberglass replacement tub for a flat fender Willys Jeep.
I believe this is for a CJ2A / CJ3A setup…but, maybe it also fits military MB M38 Ford GPW? Even though they had the high hood and slightly taller cowl I think it could potentially fit CJ3B , too?? The last photo shows the height of the cowl.
Doing some searching online I see ACME & Brian Chuchua’s may have made them at one point…but otherwise I don’t know the manufacturer.
This was from a project that started, but never fully mounted. Some holes were started on the firewall, and the fenders look like they started to get cut on the inside, but otherwise it’s still relatively “new”. Has some extra metal brackets / supports for around the firewall. It’s relatively light, but still feels solid.
Also available/included was a Bestop soft top (just the skins & doors no frame work) and 2 black front seats.
$1200 for everything or
$1000 for the body tub with fenders (I shouldn’t have to say this but CASH ONLY no electronic payments or checks!!)”
