These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Jim writes, “I’m tired of not having anything out there anymore for Willys. For example, the only replacement seats you can get for an early Willys are either military or black vinyl. How boring! This is a nice looking CJ-3B, but what’s going on with the rear springs?
“1964 CJ3B Jeep runs & drives – 4X4 works – has F134 motor, an extra transfer case, and a metal top with doors. Will take $3,500.00 OBO.”
This jeep has a variety of upgrades, though it’s having some difficulty with 2nd gear.
“I am selling my cj3a to make room for my other projects. It has a 4 bolt 350 chevy with an sm420 truck 4 speed, dana 20 t-case, dana 44 rear end and stock front. Brand new 33.12.50 BFG mud terrains. Completely rewired with painless harness. Needs brake work and the rebuilt 4 speed still has trouble shifting into 2nd. Does run and drive (I drive it to work on Friday’s and weekends). “1948 FLAT FENDER WILLYS. 350. 4 SPEED. roll cage. 427 gears. 4 wheel disc brakes. on board air. spare tire carrier(gas cans). 2 fuel pumps 1 electric 1 mechanical. a 8274 warn winch. duel flow master exaust. LOCKED FRONT AND REAR. TOW BAR. LIST GOES ON AN ON”

The seller lists this as a 1953 GB2. I thought that was a mistake until I did a search and discovered that this probably means this jeep is part of the second round of serials numbers for CJ-3Bs. In other words, it’s a pretty early CJ-3B.
“1953 Willys GB2. B style so room for new engine. 12 Volt System. Valve stuck in the original flat head. Tranny, lock outs, and diff good shape. Good wheels and tires. I don’t have time to rebuild. Great project. Licensed as collectable. $2,995 or BO.”

Here’s the first jeep I’ve ever featured from Puerto Rico and what a beauty it is.
“For Auction Beautifull 1960 Jeep Willys, it has been in the family since new, only one owner. It was recently restore by professionals. Everything in great working conditions.
UPDATE: A reader provided some pics. He notes it’s in pretty good shape, but the seller is ‘a bit difficult’.

Here’s a very nice looking 1942 MB (or is it a GPW?) that a reader spotted in Boise a couple days ago.
This looks like a lighter duty fiberglass body similar to the fiberglass body I used on my first jeep.
“Replacement fiberglass tub for all flat fender Willys Jeep models. Comes with high-back, brand new, fiberglass seats with lap belts. Also has a perfect grill. This tub is in excellent shape, no holes and its never been mounted. The grill and tub are ready for your paint! This will shorten your project by months!
