These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It’s a nice looking MB, but I think the claim that this is a better investment than your 401k is a bit over the top.

“Here is what I believe to be a Willys MB Military Jeep. If you know for sure let me know. The CHP paperwork from the previous owner has it as a Ford GPW, but it has the tube in the front, behind the radiator, so I am not sure. If you would like to see it please contact me through eBay. It has no VIN, this is the assigned numbder: ca948072.”

Note the large round speedometer. This is likely a DJ-3A body with a tailgate. This is rare enough to be worth a closer look.

Here’s a 1953 CJ-3A that’s been changed to appear like an MB, but still has the ’53 parts. It looks like it’s in good shape.
“I am selling my willys jeep project due to a divorce. I have over 3500 invested in the jeep. The jeep is a 53 made to look like a 45, I still have all the original 53 parts as well. It is not a flat head engine it is a 4 cyl not sure what type the jeep ran well before the restoration, has overdrive as well. The jeep and trailer were both sandblasted not a body off sandblast. The trailer comes with a pintail hook as well as a standard tow hook. The trailer also has a hill break it is a really nice trailer. Selling both as a set. call me at 303-588-4065”
This is a highly modified race (drag/mud) jeep.

This is a good looking M-38. It looks like it’s ready for the trails.
“Jeep military flatfender low hood great body motor is out (Chevrolet V-6) it has dana 44’s front and rear. warn 8000# winch, with remote all parts to put together so I was told and it looks like it does. Roll cage one of the nicest uncut bodys I have seen no rust the hood needs a little work but a easy fix. disk front brakes someone in a club originaly put this Jeep together. Saginaw trans.& Dana 20 transfer case. “
I need a better look at the body, but this might restore pretty well.
