Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “4 wheel drive, 4 cylinder original motor with a 3 speed manual transmission. Dualmatic 4 wheel drive hubs and an original PTO driven Ramsey winch. This is a 6 volt system with an Optima battery. The original odometer has 30367 miles and the new odometer has 1709 miles. We have the original odometer. There are many original parts, including an underdash coil starter key switch. The jeep runs, drives and stops. It has a good cooling system and oil pressure and does not drop out of second gear. Rust free, like new tires, a canvas top plus many other features.”
Looks solid. Has a rear PTO gearbox.

This modified CJ-6 has a rare Koenig hardtop with the “barn doors”.
“1964 Jeep CJ6a. Very rare. Konig removable hard top, oddfire V6, SM465 four speed manual with low, twin stick Dana 20 with low gear set, Dana 44s with 4.10 and lockers, 37” Goodyear MTRs with double headlock rims and matching spare. Very solid.”
This may be worth a look. The rust doesn’t look too bad.

“M38 flat fender. This Jeep has never been licensed or titled. It was bought surplus by a close friend and sand dragged. The Jeep is set up for a small block Chevy. “46 willys jeep.frame off rebuild.frame blasted and painted.motor rebuilt.40 over .trans t case gone threw. New brakes wc MC lines. New u joints clutch. Every blot touched replaced with stainless steel bolts.everything new or rebuilt.new seats and frames new gauges new windshield frame and glass.everything gose plus have old stuff still good can have too. Body needs side panel welded in have panels paint body put on and done have 11000.00 in my lose your gain moving and don’t have time to finish”
