About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This should be a 230_OHC Tornado. Heater controls are the later ’62. The 230 was introduced around March to May of 1962 production for the early stuff. Mine was early June. Has some condition issues out back but overall looks and sounds complete. Listed as having a few new parts so that makes it an easier lift.
Information from seller:
1962 jeep wagon, no rust, runs great, new fuel pump, water pump and brakes
This is a good price, not to be confused with this is a good engine. Still has a lot of the 24V stuff and a legit Generator set up (those are pretty amazing deals I had one on a M-715 230 sent it out West), the 4 speed is pretty neat as well, must have used a divorced TC very common on the M stuff at times.
The M151A1 had a liquid-cooled, inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a displacement of \(141.5\) cubic inches (\(2.319\) L) that produced \(71\) horsepower at \(4,000\) rpm and \(128\) ft-lbf of torque at \(1,800\) rpm.
This engine was specifically designed for military use and was paired with a 4-speed manual transmission.
In-line six new radiator new thermostat with housing new water pump has A dana rear end this was a DJ five mail carrier. The steering column has been put to the left side it’s been stretched 2 foot in the front 2 foot in the back if you’re looking for something fast, this is not it. This is a head Turner car show. Bet you did not know you had to have this today. It’s pretty cool, I like it, there is a video on the post as well. Love the color and it looks like a lot of fun.
Information from seller:
No motor. I have an extra spare body with floor pan. Have a jeep cover that will come with it. If it’s up, it’s available. Serious inquiries ONLY!! Not interested in trades.
Not much to go by here, but looks pretty complete from what is shown. Split windshield (till later in 1960 when they moved to the 1 pc) and large back window cab (after 1954) looks like they are in the ball bark on the year so to say. I forget if they ever got rid of the bed steps. When done properly those bed steps are legit, those are very functional to get up in the bed. Spare tire not so helpful climbing over that to get to say a cooler, so I keep that stuff on the passenger side! Give Sam a call, how not sure but they should know him down there Wedowee, AL pop. 751. The crazy part is back in 2012 there was a CJ-5 posted here, and 2017 a Wagon from the same town so lots of cool Willys down that way!
Information from seller:
Please call [hidden information] Sam for any questions.
Needs some work. The Carnival cars are also in Tupelo so make sure you have an empty trailer.
Information from seller:
Bought the CJ2A but do not want to keep the top even though its a rare piece of Jeep history. I am needing funds to purchase a 3 speed T-90 manual transmission. I can deliver within a reasonable distance from Tupelo, Mississippi
Yard Art? Need a wagon for the yard? Has some neat Patina to this one. Seats are there, not sure about the rest and what this looks like under the rig.

No year posted, not familiar with these doors, any help there what this exactly is. Thanks for the help. Would this have a second tank and the original tank is still behind the drivers door?
