Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Craig shared this Haggerty video that covers a stainless-bodied jeep that’s been transformed into an electric vehicle. It’s a real nice build. The “battery” that’s been placed in the jerry can holder is pretty clever.
The CJ-5 Camper, with its own axle, always seems a pretty odd and unique build. But, Blaine found some other camper designs, with their own axle, that make the CJ-5 look practical.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $13,500.
The steps have been modified, as has the dash, fenders, and tailgate. This has later model running gear. Could be a good build for jeeping. This also has Cutlas Bulldog hubs.
“Up for sale is a 1953 Jeep Willys CJ3B Flat Top Fender
This Willys is in really nice shape to do whatever you wish to it. Do some rock crawling or just have it to drive it.
Has been converted over to a Ford 289 V8 with original T-90 3 speed transmission. Has plenty of power. Runs on Highway at 75mph with no issues or wobbling and low range works perfect. Everything works as it should.
Frame is absolutely in perfectly clean shape with no rust on it. Tub is in perfect condition with no rust holes or spot repairs at all.
Brakes have been redone and new hydraulic boost added.
New Dunlop mud tires
New fuel pump
Dual factory tanks
