About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1950 cj 3a ran when parked owner puts Tran fluid down carb from time to time motor turns over it has all seats including one that fits between the two fronts he recently had the fuel tank cleaned”
“Listing for a friend. Not my jeep. M38 running jeep serial number 66857 May 1952. Asking $5000. Contact owner at [hidden information]. Located in Alabaster, Al. I looked at the jeep and it is very solid and practically no rust. After consulting other jeep experts we believe it has a early reproduction M38 tub, but these early tubs did not have the cowl battery box or ax/shovel indents in the tub. Jeep comes with over $600 worth of new parts including a CJ wiring harness, manuals and new windshield glass. Would make a great parade jeep, 12 volt, she thinks the brakes were replaced? I did see new brake hoses. Jeep was in the process of being restored up to about 3 weeks ago.”
“Selling a 1947 Willys body and frame. No drive train, just a roller. Body is just sitting on the frame, it is not bolted down. No title. Please let me know if you have any questions.”
This as is insteresting as the advertiser is the International Nickel Company of Canada, yet visually it feels like an ad for the upcoming civilian jeep.
John S. Van Gilder, in his ManHATtan column, tells the story of his first experience with a jeep in the September 13, 1942, issue of The Knoxville News:
(11/02/2020) The Willys Export Ads showing wagons were placed by the Willys Export Company in the El Automovil Americano Magazine. The seller does a good job of explaining that he may not be able to ship these ads to certain states due to the pandemic.

“1948 keep willys for sale, runs and drives well. Everything work as it should with the drivability, 4wd works too. This vehicle is a perfect starting point for someone to restore or use at a hunting club. Everything is original and can send videos of it running if interested”
