About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
These are both sides of a 1940’s era Willy’s panel van. Also both doors from left and right sides. Purchased from a dealer in Texas for a Restaraunt project for a client, we ended going in a different direction. Extremely cool one of a kind Restaraunt/bar/? Decor. I am retiring at the end of the year and it is time to begin purging some of my “ projects” ! Delivery can be arranged. See pics for dimensions. Lmk if any other pics desired.
1946 Jeep Willy’s CJ2A. 4cyl engine. 4wd works. High low range works. Has PTO powered welder in rear. Custom made cab. Has doors. 6 volt. Runs and drives
Clean OPEN title meaning when we bought this over 25 years ago, the seller signed but didn’t date the title so there will be no penalties owed. 4 WD Military Willys truck with Military 4 cyl motor. Fender is included. Has been sitting for over 25 years. Frame would need to be boxed in on both sides behind the cab as you can see in the pics. Floorboards are shot. Amazingly the tires seem to be holding air. There is no bed included. I know nothing else about it. Only selling because my husband died. He was going to make a rat rod out of it and put it on an S-10 frame that we have.
Willys Jeep Spicer PTO, drive shaft & rear gearbox in good working order. The rubber boots on the driveshaft are torn. Would trade for a good Willys flat fender body. Will not ship. Located near Atchison Kansas.
1953 Willys Rad Rod for sale. Great project car for beginners and advanced mechanics. She has not run for 3 years and has been parked and covered. Needs new battery, brakes and rear tires. Frame and body in good condition. No structural rust damage. We hope to give her a new home that she will be brought back to life or used to give a new life. Please be prepared to have her faltbed’d out.
Dan sent me an email about their awesome and just gorgeous 1950 2WD Wagon that has seen more states and miles then a lot of vehicles ever will have the opportunity to see.

They also have a great website which has stories and technical notes about some of their journeys.
Please check out their website and the shots of their 1950 Wagon its really amazing.
The Wagon was restored by them in the late 1970’s and since then they have put on over 100,000 miles of driving the back roads pretty much everywhere. Still the original 6V System it’s a tried and true F134, BWOD, can cruise 50-55 on the flats
Back in 2003 they were able to research and find the original Owners of the Wagon, then in 2004 took a road trip in the Wagon (of course) to visit them. That’s really cool to see some of the original documents and photos that they posted on their page.
Seeing some bits of information on the paperwork they posted of course I then “had” to try to dig up some stuff related to the document and here is what I was able to find.
The Wagon was sold by the Sadler Motor Company out of Biloxi, MS on July 6th 1950. Looking through some of the newspaper stuff I was able to find a really nice Ad from June 28th 1950, this looks like an exact match of their Wagon. Perhaps this is the actual ad that the original Owner saw that turned them on to the Willys. The totals on the paperwork are also really close to this total, with some added features and a little tax its right there in general ballpark.
Purchased Thursday 7-6-1950 this ad ran two Sundays prior on 6-26-1950…. F-Head and All 2WD, Overridder, that’s the Wagon IMO….
Here are some other ads from1950 Sadler also carried Hudson out of this dealership. Sadler appears to have been a few dealerships in Bilioxi and Gulfport areas.

I hope you enjoy the stories and adventures on the Jeeptrekker Website, it was very nice that Dan reached out and we are able to share this part of Willys history with everyone. Thanks, Tim
Sent in by Andy posting as a 52 they have it listed as a 1945, but has the V grill, the 5 bars, the placement of the battery tray, some of the trim and other smaller details like the rounded wheel wells, I really just went with that “452” which is not original but looks like a replacement VIN of sorts, so who knows got to start somewhere.
The SN does place it in 1952 correctly as a Wagon with the FA2 and the SN sequence is correct, but the unique use of the Letter I stamp for the F and the 1 in 10808 are pretty much not standard practice, good use of what was in the kit, it got the job done and back on the road at some point. My 1950 Truck Salad has a very familiar feel to its VIN on the side door, so been there, am there kind of thing. Not knocking this whatso ever.
Seat frames are there in the front. The horn I like those dual note set up or the early flat horns. Most likely 6V so tread carefully if you are testing these out.
Heater looks “newer” maybe late 50’s early 60’s?
Not sure what the small pan is above the steering wheel on the dash, maybe for your Sun Flower Seeds or something else?
Next to the Speedo there is a small sign that is related to “The NIK-O-LOCK Company” out of Indianapolis, IN that was for Pay Dressing Room and Toilet’s back in the day. Was able to dig that up on the good old interwebs, pretty amazing how almost everything is cataloged out there somewhere!
