This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1949 willys Jeepster project For sale is a really nice project with tons of parts even some new nos parts. No time to finish it to many other projects. As far as I know I have everything to finish the build. I have a crate full of Parts for the jeepster Original motor and transmission are gone so the project comes with no motor or transmission I was going to install v6 auto trans from a late model truck so it’s a blank slate the jeepster is rust free and in excellent condition needs very little to finish and I have a great start on it already since last posting I’ve finished the wheels and tires and have painted the frame as well as undercoated inside I’m getting ready to undercoat underneath and paint the Tub or main body Turquoise like the wheels. these are pretty rare old convertibles last picture for attention and how I was going to restore it located southern Indiana asking 4,000 firm what a deal located in Evansville Indiana and a fairly simple project for even a beginner”

(08/20/2020) “I have two…not one but two Willis jeeps for sale…I want 1800.00 for both of them… u get two jeeps for 1750.00 I have titles in my name..one jeep is a 1946..first year public was offered a Willis jeep….the other is a 1948.. I have never heard them run…and have never tried to start them…they do have rust…holes….in frames…u could fix them though… u can buy any part u need for these old willys… one is pretty solid as u can see in pics..the other is rougher but still useable…the factory power take off pto is hanging out the back..just like it came… Both should fit on a trailer at same time…. I will not sell parts off these jeeps…unless u want to,pay asking price of jeep for the parts..”

“This is an ex-British Army Austin Champ. Built in 1954 it served in an ordinance regiment up until 1967 when it was sold off by the queens royal army. Its fairly complete. It is fitted with a Rolls Royce B40 engine that has a full water proofing kit fitted. Its a 5 speed transmission with a selectable high low and reverse tranfercase. Im looking for $2000 or best offer.”

“A Prospector’s Dream or a mini RV!
A unique vehicle for the right individual. A fold out six foot bed behind the seats, and a “kitchen” underneath. Email me for videos showing the set ups. A 1944 WWII surplus jeep purchased in 1954. It is a Willy’s 4 cylinder. I think it might be a CJ 6.
Needs new gas tank (has 2 tanks, if you want to replace both) Seals and belts are dry, but should absorb fluids back when added. It was started, but turned off to avoid running bad gas through the carburetor. All the mini-van modifications can be removed to restore to original jeep without too much conversion.

“Up for sale is my 1946 Willy’s cj2a. It has the aluminum Buick v6 in it. Frame is boxed. Sitting on good m/t 235/75/15 Firestones. Three speed split case with reverse. New battery, new clutch. Manual brakes manual steering. New seats and floor was bedlined.”

In 1950 the Jeep Station Sedan line was upgraded with the Lightening 6 engine. Apparently, that didn’t stimulate sales, as the Sedan model was canceled later in 1950. For some reason, there’s no form number attached to this brochure (I can’t figure out why some brochures have form numbers and some don’t). The four-page brochure opens horizontally. Since it didn’t fit on my scanner, I ‘scanned’ it with my phone, but it didn’t scan all that well. It doesn’t look as dirty in person as it does in the pics.
