Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1950 Original Willys Four Universal CJ-3A Tune Up chart by AEA, (Not a Reproduction). Both sides are shown in the photographs. The photos are of the exact item you will receive Measures 8.5 x 11 inches, two-sided single sheet.”
These Sears-branded Selectro hubs have the smaller ribbed style.

“Aftermarket Sears Manual Locking Hubs Taken Off Willys MB Fits CJ2A GPW Jeep CJ. Condition is “Used”. Used take offs for rebuild or parts. D-bubba-ing my 1945 MB and finally got around to removing these off the front axles. As is condition. The Jeep has not run since I acquired it and therefor these are untested in driving conditions. Mounting bolts are not included.”
Listed as a 1947, this appears to be a 1946 VEC CJ-2A. This has a BW overdrive. And, it might have the Hudson steering mod.

“Located in Landers, CA 2 Jeep Willys FC170 for sale as a package deal – $9,000 OBO for both 1962 Jeep Willy FC170 – red one 1958 Jeep Willy FC170 – green one Clean titles! These are a rare find. I am looking for the right buyer who can restore these gems and get them back on the road. They have been stored outdoors in the hi desert since at least 1992. They do not run, and there are only 4 tires total for both cars. Please do not ask to buy only 1 Jeep. I am selling both together as a package. Buyer responsible for pick up and tow away. Additional items included: 2 additional seat frames, warn accessory winch.”

(10/03/2020) Looks in reasonable shape. Has a PTO powered Ramsey winch.
“1952 Willy’s Overland Jeep CJ3A – Unmodified, stock, running, driving, one family since new. Rare factory PTO Ramsey winch. Runs great. It is an unrestored driver. Definitely gets thumbs up all over town but is not perfect. We’ve had our fun and it’s time for something different.”
