These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Its rough and needs work but its a good start if your looking for an original lefty body. Pick up in CT. Asking $400 obo. I would also trade for an early (VEC) cj2a windshield”

“PICK UP ONLY!!! In onamia mn, front and rear axle, inner axle on front passenger is pulled, transfer case spins freely and shifts good, trans doesn’t shift is rusty inside but still saveable. Make an offer, want parts gone! 3 wheels are jeep wheels one is a model a wheel, will help pull axles and load them trans and t case already pulled and still mounted on cross member. Body is shot with nothing salvageable”

“A 1948 Willy’s CJ2A. Jeep is in very good condition. Shows less than 18 K miles on odometer. This was a classic barn find near Audubon Iowa in 1978, and was purchased by my father and driven home. The motor was smoking badly at that time and it sat indoors in heated storage for many years. In the last few years the 4 cylinder flat head motor has been rebuilt, the 3 speed manual drive line gone thru, the brake,fuel, and cooling systems repaired/replaced.
New windshield glass. New seat cushions on all three seats on original frames. Still wears its faded and scratched “Princeton Black” 1948 paint excepting a few areas that were cleaned up as it was restored to be a turnkey driver. Factory(?) side steps All five original wheels, still in faded 1948 “Sunset Red”- which actually was a pumpkin orange- with a black trim stripe. “In excellent condition. Seats have been re-upholstered. Its a 4 cylinder. Its been switched to 12 volt, but has the 6 volt generator if you want to put that back on. No rust, could use a paint job. The mileage is true miles. Clean title. A great old jeep, a blast to drive around!”
