Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This has some old Desert Dogs.
‘This thing is a major project. It has a buick v6 in it but I’m pretty sure it is junk. I was told that the front and rear axles are welded. The body is rough, no bad rust but plenty of surface rust. I had plans to build a wheeler out of it but life has got in the way and I’m not sure when I will get back to it. I’d like $750 but I’m flexible. Delivery available within reason. May take a trade but depends on what it is. Call, text or email me if you have any questions or want to come look”

This has some solid lettering Dogs. It sure looks like a racer from the 80s maybe.
“This is a project rig. It does not run. I don’t know what kind of shape the drive train is in. I found it in a field. I was told it used to be raced and the axles are welded up. I due have a title for it. I can’t remember the year at the moment but 46′ sticks in my head. I was going to build a wheeler out of it but I have no time or money. I’d like to see $800 but feel free to make an offer. I can send more pics. It’s currently in storage in Othello but I live in tri-cities.”

This has some solid letter desert dogs. I suspect this has hardly been used over the past 30 years.
“1953 Willys CJ3B with rare sears and robuck half cab topper circa 1960. F-head hurricane 134 ci 4 cylinder removed for restoration. Very little rust and solid frame and chassis. all original drive train aside from aftermarket rims and 31 inch tires. has the original heater unit. $3000 obo. ”

The main reason for my trip to Seattle this weekend was to pick up a set of Forumla Desert Dog tires from Mitch with some good tread still left that I can use as offroad tires. I have four more hurricane rims just aching for these tires, so I can’t wait to get them mounted. This should really make Biscuit ready for summertime explorations. Thanks Mitch!

“Complete Has overhead valve engine out of a newer (1950s-60s) jeep. Frame broken near grill. Has Willys stamped on windshield frame. Tub has been patched a few times but it it almost 70 years old. Great for parts. Was a mudder before frame broke about 15 years or so ago. I unhooked the generator and put a battery in it last summer and it whirled over but thats as far as I went. 740-464-0363 I will consider trades. No title.”

Some old desert dogs on the front and old terras on the rear. The rims with the terras look pretty good. Given those additions, I wonder if the drive train was upgraded with anything like posi.
