1948 Willys CJ2 with a V2203 Kubota turbocharged engine conversion.
Dana 44 front axle with a detroit locker and 4:88 gears. All new (axles, Hubs, locker, gears, bearings) with heavy duty tie rod and drag link.
Dana 44 rear full floating axle with a Auburn limited slip with everything brand new also!
Transmission and transfer case rebuilt and overdrive added.
New front disk brakes and rear 11 inch drums with dual master cylinder and all new brake lines.
Saginaw steering conversion.
New modern wiring harness.
New Mastercraft suspension seats with 5 point harnesses and full roll cage.
5 New BFGOODRICH 31/10.5/R15s with new wheels
New gauges with EGT gauge and Boost gauge
New battery and radiator.
I Also have a Artic front window that i will include in the sale

“1953 Willys CJ3B (High Hood). 327 Small Block Chevy with SM465 (Muncie) Granny low 4 speed. Spicer single stick 20 transfer case. Narrowed 9 inch ford rear with 4.11 gears (Mini Spool). Narrowed Dana 44 front (Open). Custom drag link with one ton rod ends. Power steering (Saginaw). Holbrook Specialties extended leaf springs. Wilwood hyd. clutch w/swing pedals. Original body tub. All rust has been repaired with new floors and relocated battery where tool box used to be under pass. seat. Rino lined inside tub and underside. Frame painted with POR-15. 15 gallon fuel cell. Warn 8000 pound winch. Bikini top. Two sets of wheels. List goes on. This jeep has had full frame up build and low hours since completed. Well over 10K in receipts. Serious buyers only. Looks good. The interior “diamond plating” on the ceiling is actually thin plastic sheets cut to fit the side panels and headliner.

“According to Willys records, less than 12,000 wagons were produced in 1959. All were powered by the Super Hurricane 226 Cubic Inch inline 6-cylinder flat head engine. Combined with the 3 speed manual transmission, this drive train produced a neck-snapping 115 HP and could almost reach 55 mph down hill with a tail wind. These wagons came in both the two-wheel and four-wheel drive models and were designed for strength and durability, not speed.

It is difficult to find any of these vehicles today. For the most part, those that do exist do not resemble the original. Most have been subjected to the “improvements” of a high-powered engine and transmission swap.

This rare example has seen restoration efforts by 3 successive owners since 2008. Each has added his or her contribution but no effort has been made to change the original 58 year-old powertrain.

Some effort was put into fixing those fenders.
