These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

(05/07/2013) This seems to be missing a driver’s side hood clamp near the front fender.
“A very solid cj3a with extensive work and upgrades done recently. Recent paint top engine rebuild.Rebuilt transmission and transfercase, overdrive,lockrite differential in front axle.New rollbar,stereo,speakers,wiring,tailites,towbar. good tires.Trailerhitch..”
It has a fiberglass body. Has some extraneous diamond plate. Gas tank has been moved to the rear, along with the filler.
“1948 Willys Jeep. orginal frame,trans.rear end. Has a V-6 buick engine-fiber glass C3 body. Looks nice and runs good. Needs new brake shoes. Bought it at a benefit auction thinking i could get it in my enclosed carport with my truck but came up 2′ short. Has a canvas top not shown in the pics. Paid more than i’m asking but thats what Benefits are all about. So Best offer considered.”
“Custom/modified 1955 1/4 ton 4X4 and matching trailer… 4 speed with overdrive. Small block Chevy. Unique modifications.
Diamond plating fire wall and, floor. GM Chevrolet Power Steering. Rancho Suspension, Rock Crawler 4X4 4WD OFF ROAD. Frontend- Axle joints both sides, all bearings seals in and out. CENTER CONSOLE w/Battery Kill Switch, Battery 1 – 2 – Both – Off selector. Duel Battery in back.
FRONT BUMPER: Custom bumper , REAR BUMPER: None, really- Curt 2” Receiver hitch.
Disc brakes CB: Comes with Cobra CB, and firestick antenna. Stereo.
“Family” roll cage, that extends all the way to the rear.
Posy Front (Welded Front Spider Gears) AWB when engaged.
Has bikini top, full top, and full doors (not in good shape.) Clean Title and NEVER HAVE TO SMOG IT!

(08/03/2010) The body has been lifted and the springs have been outboarded. I suspect the front and rear housings have been replaced, as it now sports 6 lug rims.
“1948 CJ2A- Rebuilt Jeep Chevy 327 new rings, bearings, valves and lifters, 2 bolt main.
4 wheel drive with jeep transfer case. Heavy duty drive shafts. 3.18 road gears.
Adjustable air shocks ( takes external air or take supply from on board air pump) You get an extra 3 inch lift. Power steering and Power brakes. Frame is reinforced. Plate and heavy channel added.
I cut all the rust I could find and welded in panels where I could. Aluminum plate added.
Some new carpet. Wood dash and new gauges. Stainless exhaust system.
Disc brakes on front.2 new calipers. 15″ brakes on Back. New Warn hubs. 100 miles on rebuild.
Paint job not the best. My first. I kept a manual of what was added and from what vehicle.

New wiring harnessTwo window frames the one shown in pictures and original 46. Tub has rust it’s a 1946 very useable. More parts in barn to much to list. I got this as a project put my time in it dose need to be finished.”

“Will trade for a compact tractor with loader. CJ has a 350 Chevy engine and a th350 transmision. Runs and sounds good. Guy I got it from says he has over 20k invested. Too much to list. Seen some CJ’s on eBay for 13k or more that’s not as nice”

“1943 Ford GPW. Bought last summer to help a friend out. All new brakes, master and wheel cylinders, shoes. Rebuilt starter. Runs a drives great. Minimal to no rust. Body is very solid. Remanufactured flathead at some time in the past. Converted to alternator, new battery. T90 with dana 18. Stock D25 axles. Full floater rear axle. I have an original airfilter, driveshaft parking brake which needs installation, foot start starter.
Might consider partial trade for YJ, TJ, stock Samurai, 2 door Rav4, 2 door Mitsubishi Montero. Must be close to stock. No rust buckets or hack jobs. Looking to tow behind motorhome

“This is a beautifully resto-modded 1963 Willys Wagon 4×4! I purchased it from a private seller in Eastern NC outside of Asheville. He owned it for approx 10 years and the restoration was completed approx 9 years ago.
The build was very thorough from start to finish. The body was removed and all rusted panels were cut out and replaced with new steel (see photo album of resto). A New Chevy 350 V8 engine was installed along with a Chevy Automatic Transmission that is mated to the original Dana 18 Transfer Case (recently rebuilt). The axles are from a Jeep Grand Wagoneer and were completely rebuilt with new bearings and seals. The axle upgrade gives this Willys Power Disc Brakes up front and a much better gear ratio for cruising than the original setup. It also has Power Steering and a Vintage Air A/C system with R134 refrigerant. Continue reading →
