This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I’ve never seen one of these CJ-5 fiberglass tubs. Has a thick rim around the back and a seat built into the cargo area.

This has a Bobcat fiberglass body with a very very rare (we only know of a handful) tear drop Bobcat hood.

“I have a 1962 willys cj5 jeep that I’ve been working on for about a year fixing up to make road ready and I just lost interest. This is a fun jeep to drive it has a full fiberglass kit on it matched with the 4cyl motor it gets up and goes. Motor runs good Trans and 4wd shift well it has a new clutch,carb,exhaust,fuel tank and lines,wiring,lights,brakes,and lines and I’m sure I’m forgetting stuff. As far as what it needs to make road legal again is a windshield glass and a few odds and ends put back on. I have a soft top for it that I never installed yet it is used. “1949 Willys Jeep for sale, needs finished up. has new transmission and clutch, reman head, new distributor and starter, its not far from being done but I don’t have time to finish and have to have surgery so its time to let someone else take over. this jeep has a fiberglass tub so it will never rust. frame is in great condition not rusty. need to see in person.”
