The fiberglass body looks in good shape, though the seller says it is cracked.

“This is a 1946 jeep. It was a complete running driving willys last week. It has now become a parts/project jeep. I have a good clear title and vin tag ready to go. There is also a tag on the frame. What is here:

complete fiberglass body kit metal windshield frame, glass is cracked. Metal wiilys hood and grille. Glass gas tank. steering column still connected to the box. Dash with all guages. factory frame in rust free condition, the body is still bolted on the frame. Trans & transfer case with drive shafts still mounted with the cross member to the frame. Front and rear axles with lock outs. Wiring with electric wiper motors. I do not have an engine. Radiator. Leaf springs. Seats. Other than these few parts it could easily be put back on the road. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.The body appears solid.  I believe this is a thinner walled, light body similar to what I had on my first jeep.

Here’s a good looking CJ-2A with a glass body that has a starting bid of $1,999.

“I am Selling my project Willys jeep CJ2A. It is a 1947 with an all original drive train. It has the flat 4 cylinder engine and the 3 speed tranny. The jeep runs and shifts fine. The 4wd works good. The brakes are rebuilt but need final adjustment. All new axle bearings. You will need to trailer this Willys home, but it will drive onto any trailer you put in front of it. It has a fiberglass tub, hood and fenders. The grill and windshield frame are metal and in great shape. The glass is all good. There is no cracks in any of the fiberglass. The frame is super solid. This is a great start to a nice project you could have on the road in a couple of weekends. It does need some tlc. The tires are new and the rims are freshly painted. It comes with a spare rim, nos front bumper, used lift springs, extra carbs and a garage full of spare parts. I do have a clean MA title for it. Tades are concidered so tell me what you have. Im in to harleys, sport bikes, 4wd quads and any jeep that the top comes off and is on the road.”

“I have a 1947 Willys jeep for sale. It is sitting on a Scout frame and running gear with warn hubs. The motor is a 302, the tranny is out of a Fairlane and it has the Scout transfer case. The body is a complete 6 piece (tub, fenders, grill, hood and tailgate) fiberglass kit painted hugger orange. The windshield frame is the factory metal frame. The wheels are steel spoke with 33″ swampers. I have most of the smaller parts in boxes. It comes with 3 race seats and covers. This jeep is a project and needs finished. All the expensive parts are there, just needs a few little parts and it will be an awesome jeep. I also have a clear title for it. I have too many projects and this one needs to go.I am asking $2700 OBO or I am open to trades. ”
