About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“I have a steel hard Top with Doors for CJ3A will fit a 2A or 3B Top is in a Good condition
I am not sure of Manufacture might be a konig again not sure”
This ad is funny. Given the rear PTO, the blade in front and the Meyer hardtop, this jeep looks to have value.
“1962 Willy’s Jeep Model CJ5 4×4 w/6′ Snow Plow and 8,000# winch
134cid F-Head 4 cylinder engine, manual 3-speed transmission with Hi/Low range and PTO
This Jeep has worked hard her entire life. I personally have owned her for more years than I can remember. It has served as a utility vehicle to help gather firewood in the fall and plow the road in the winter. During the summer she mostly just sits around gathering wasps. She’s old, she has cancer and she smokes 5 packs a day but by golly she still runs! Unfortunately, the long years of hard work have finally taken its toll and she just doesn’t have enough compression in the old pistons to push the plow like she used to. Her tired old engine could really use a rebuild.
Although we have worked this old girl hard over the years, we have done much to keep her going! She has new springs and shocks that gave her a much needed 2″ lift so she could hold those 31” tires. She got a new gas tank about 3 years ago, along with a new clutch, carburetor, starter, alternator conversion (she originally had a generator!), all new brakes, and just last month she got a brand new battery! She has also been rewired front to back and now has a fuse box!
“Good condition Willys Jeep. Hardtop Clean AZ title,PTO,New tires,New Battery,New fuel Pump,56,000 original miles needs seats re done. Exterior done in rhino lined. Nice jeep for the price”
“I have a hardtop roof with doors and tailgate that fits the early CJ bodies. Also, other various other Jeep parts, including a TH-400 AMC transmission with a Spicer 20 transfer case, a T-86 3 speed Jeep transmission and a large bore spicer 18 transfer case that fits the T-86 transmission. I also have the adapter that marries the T-86 transmission to a 225 Buick V6. There is also an engine to transmission adapter that I’m not familiar with.
Gas tank, $40 each
Front fender, $40
Hardtop roof, doors, tail gate, $500
Transmission, $40
T-case, $40”
This has a Meyer hardtop and might have some Free-lock hubs.
“64 JEEP CJ5, mostly stock running gear. 4 cyl., metal hardtop (in good condition) with roll up windows. Short fender. Runs and drives but not a daily driver yet. Nice tub with very minimal rust. Priced at $3,900.”
Good luck fitting this on a flat fender without extra hardware.

“This hard top & doors came with my Willys CJ3B and I have decided I won’t be using it. Overall looks like it is in decent shape. Please see the pictures and ask any questions. Located in Buffalo Grove. It is aluminum and very light.”
“This is a half finished Project Willy’s. It runs and drives. Mechanically sound and starts right up. Body and electric system is the next step. It’s an old jeep that needs a new home. $2900.00 or best, realistic, CASH offer. I’ve spent over $7000.00 in parts and labor above the purchase price. I’ve just lost interest. My loss is your gain.”
(12/07/2017) I wonder how the plates on the front bumper are used.
“This 1948 Willys Jeep has a clean title. I actually have the original title. It has only had two owners. It has the original 4 cylinder engine. It does need new points and plugs. It also needs the brakes replaced. The new brakes come with it, but do need installed. We are open to fair offers.”
It’s a project. I thought at first the hardtop was a Porter & Reed model, but the curved rear of the roof isn’t standard for that model, unless this is some later version that we don’t have documented.
“Rough but a good starting point. No drivetrain. No title but will do a bill of sale, bonded title should be easy on this. Comes with aluminum hardtop and steel doors with glass…..”
