UPDATE: Was $2500. **SOLD**
Unclear if it runs, but no obvious rust. The front bumper looks indented for some reason.

It runs, thought it needs a few parts. The rust might be minimal given the top.
“1953 CJ3A Jeep Willys
You will see in the photos this thing is completely original from tires to glass, to the paint and top. The only added feature I am aware of is a tubular steel roll cage that was added. This Jeep was kept in a barn for roughly 20 years. It would be a great Willys Restore Project due to it all being there.
The price for this Jeep is $$1750 OBO. Cash Only Please. This Jeep needs an ignition switch rebuild, a starter solenoid, a battery and two battery terminal cable connections to run. We carb started it when the battery and solenoid were still attached and it cranked within 5 minutes!.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2650.
(12/05/2012) This top is homemade with soft top and hard sides. Looks interesting.
“1961 Jeep (Willys), Unique and hard to find CJ 6, 4 cylinder F-head, 3 speed transmission, 2 wheel-4 wheel high and 4 wheel low transfer case which has been partially rebuilt, various newer steering parts, newer lock-out hubs, newer springs (all), newer windshield wiper motor (driver side, passenger side is manual), newer windshield wipers, body is in rough shape, running gear is in very good condition, the top is homemade metal sides, back and doors (removable) are in good condition-the vinyl top (which is removable via snaps) will need to be replaced, the wiring under the dash has been redone, has newer OEM carb that now needs work and the original carb, 2 complete sets of tires/wheels; 1 set (5) of 7.00-15 Goodyear 6-ply bias-ply in good shape and 1 set (4) of Goodyear Wrangler radials not in good shape, the frame and cross members are all in very good condition. Light duty trailer hitch. AM radio. Master brake cylinder leaks, brake fluid needs to be checked prior to each drive. This is an old Jeep and due to the motor/transmission/gear ratios is not suitable for highway driving; its top speed is about 45 mph but will go about any place or climb about anything. Runs good.
The following items shown in the photos have been removed and do not go with the jeep: the top set of rear lights, gas can carrier (spare tire carrier will remain), CB radio and antenna for the CB, and the tow bar.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
This one has an odd top.
