Was the strap on this an option or was this custom?

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Here’s a DJ-3A in great shape. Note the frame is purple.
“First of all,I must start by saying that this NOT a post office jeep,. In 1955 &1956 Willys put out this vehicle & called it a Jeep Dispatcher / Delivery vehicle ,ideal for use in congested metropolitan areas. To me it’s just a cool little jeep. This jeep had a frame off restoration a couple years back,at that time the original owner changed the transmission from a manual 3 speed synchromesh to a turbo 350 automatic with a 6 volt system.The original transmission is included,every nut &bolt was saved just incase to switch it back. The jeep is in great shape & runs good. Just had it inspected in may 2013,Ican’t think of anything it needs,besides maybe a tune up. $500.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1900.
I thought the hardtop was interesting.

Marc spotted this odd hard top. I looked up the radio station and WXCG now broadcasts in New York State. I can’t tell where the photo was taken.

UPDATE II: I’ve added these two very rare photos from FB posted by Martin Sturm showing his grandmother next to a CJ-2A equipped with a V-7 Bodyworks hardtop.
=============================
UPDATE: Thanks to Jennifer, the granddaughter of the creator Sam Sevin of the V-7 hardtops, we now know who created them. There are newspaper clippings that indicate the company operated for a short time, roughly from 1948-1949. The company was formed by Sam and his brother Sol Sevin. Unfortunately, it appears the company didn’t not get the orders they’d hoped and was forced out of business.

(04/19/2013) Not perfect, but runs and drives.
“This 1947 Willy’s Jeep has a lot to offer. The mechanical aspects of the jeep are in great working order. The engine starts easily and performs normally, the transmission shifts normally; the transfer case and four-wheel drive components perform normally. The body is in above average condition but has had some previous patching. The paint I would classify as weak and to make it really nice would need to be sandblasted and repainted. The winch functions normally and has easy inside controls. The tires are in good condition and should provide a lot of great service.”
Here’s an odd duck. The body looks extended in the rear.
