These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Jim spotted this GPW with an unusual hardtop.
“1943 Flat Fender Ford GPW This is as found on my recently purchased property. Yes it’s 4 wheel drive. Yes the engine turns with the hand crank. Not running NO TITLE Has faint military markings on body. Comes with half doors and 2 extra carbs Asking 2,500.00 OBO”
Needs assembly, some glass, and some paint, but looks solid.

“Up for sale is a hard top which is made by Koenig It should fit Willys and AMC CJ-5 jeeps from 1955-1975. The top is currently disassembled for easier transportation. It is stored indoors. It will need refinished and painted. It is complete with door handles, hinges, brackets, window cranks and tracks. Needs some glass replaced.”

“This Jeep has a great frame and the axles and suspensions are all there. The body has some good panels around it. A CJ2A windshield comes with it. I should have tires and wheels to put on it. I’m asking $525 for the jeep and parts.”
It appears solid. The Kelly hardtop looks in great shape.

“All original 1957 Willy’s jeep, comes with spare tire, and hard top. Starts and runs very well, 4 speed manual, I’ve had this for a couple years and I just don’t have time to restore it to its full capabilities. I have had tons of fun with my friends in this. 5000 obo, will consider partial trades for second amendment but mostly need cash.”
Mike shared this possible Tux Park. It’s got the right hood and column shift, but the bumpers aren’t correct.

Seller indicates this would fit a 2A, but it would do so poorly. The top is disassembled and a little rough, but the price seems good.

“Jeep hard top which needs restored. Pretty solid and all the glass is in it. Have metal doors to go with it but need restored as well. The door glass is there. The top and doors were disassembled to restore but got a different top, so did not finish the restore. This is a FCFS and no holding. If it is listed then it is available and when it is sold it will be marked sold. I believe this top is for an older jeep CJ5 but will fit others. I have had it on my CJ5 but I am sure it will fit a CJ2a as well.”
