Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1960 Willy’s Jeep is mostly all Original, New Electric Fuel Pump, New OEM Muffler, New (4) Brake Cyl’s and Shoes, Recent Oil Change w / Synthetic Oil. Speedometer not working (mileage unknown). It has had a valve job in 1989. I installed two 3 Point Safety Belts, Turn Signal Switch, and Drivers side electric windshield wiper. The top is a makeshift top I constructed just to keep the rain and snow off but needs to be upgraded. I am asking 7200.00 OBO .
I purchased this Jeep last year and I am the second owner.
I am selling it because I am 74 yo and it is difficult for me to get in and out of it. Also I am a large man and I am not comfortable driving it.
I just returned from Moab Ut. and the Jeep is still on the trailer.”

The original L134 engine was disassembled and found to be within factory tolerances. It was put back together with new bearings, rings, oil pump and seals.
The engine has a new water pump, thermostat, new fuel pump, new carburetor, a new 12 volt alternator and the original 6 volt starter that has been rebuilt. and completely new wire harnesses.
Also has new seats, new gauges, new clutch and throw-out bearing, lots of extra parts! Price is negotiable..”

Repro Ford script tub on original GPW frame, less than 300 miles on professionally rebuilt GPW engine assembly with F script cylinder head. GPW marked transmission with F script top cover. Early GPW bell housing, GPW/Ford marked transfer case and axels. Most small parts correct. Original WWII combat rims with new tires, tubes and flaps. New 6v battery, rebuilt generator and regulator. New GPW marked radiator, coolant is waterless Evans anti-freeze so cooling system will not rust. Repro M31C pedestal mount, original M48 dash mount with 2 cradles. Comes with canvas top, other canvas accessories and a Beechwood heavy vinyl Jeep cover. Can send more pics upon request”
