“1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A for sale. I bought this Jeep in 1999. I am only the third owner of this 70 year old vehicle. I completed a total frame off restoration on it. Everything was restored to original with the exception of a 12 volt conversion. I have taken this Jeep to two car shows and did win an award at one of them.
Since I did a lot of the work myself, this could be considered an amateur restoration. Some of the work completed during the restoration include: Engine was rebuilt by Ron’s machine shop in Ohio – Frame was sandblasted and painted – Wheels were sandblasted and powder coated – New body tub and front fenders from Willys-Overland in Toledo – Original hood, grill, tailgate, and windshield frame – I rebuilt transmission, transfer case, and carburetor.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $18,900.
I’d like to see more pics of this one.
“I’m selling my custom built Willys pickup. Fuel injected Chevy 5.7liter (350) with a turbo 350 trans. Rhino lined interior floors and bed, brand new off-road tires 35″, custom fabricated bumpers, thousands in fabrication work, warn winch, custom seat and digital gauges, awesome resto mod. The 4×4 works great. Clean title in hand and current registration
$19,500 cash or will consider a partial trade involving:
2002 newer Toyota Tacoma or 4runner 4wd auto trans for my daughter to drive.
Honda CRZ, civic, accord as a commuter for myself – low miles
Suzuki DRZ400 or 650 enduro (again good weather commuter)
Get rid of your average vehicle and get a one of a kind head turner to drive around”
Looks good. Aren’t those early rims?
