“Selling my 1949 Willeys!! It’s beautiful and a absolute head turner. I get compliments and have had many discussions with people admiring it. It has a 215ci Buick aluminum block v6 and turbo 350 auto 4 speed tranny still equipped with the 2 speed gearing And original warn transfer case. It runs great and drives like a jeep if you know what I’m talking about…lol, has power steering covertion and 2 fuel tanks, soft top, Rancho suspension and 33″tires. Anyone into old jeeps or vehicles will definatly appreciate it!.”

“I have a 1947 Jeep Willys CJ2A for sale Nice Jeep, parade vehicle or unstoppable 4X4. Supersonic 4 cylinder rebuilt with receipts by reputable jeep shop. 12V New Distributor. Everything works, does have the 2nd gear pop common to these jeeps and leaks out tranny not bad though just usual felt seals on these old beasts. I’m selling cause I wanna get something that I can take out and get dirty. This thing is too nice for me to do that! Serious inquires only no trades. $6000 firm.“

Crane Electronic Ignition, Dana 44 front with Superwinch Hubs. Dana 60 Rear with Dyna Trac Hubs and full floater axles. Boxed frame. 3/4 ton Blazer suspension. Front and rear disk brakes. Front and Rear Air Lockers. Dual fuel tanks. Onboard Air. New (100 miles) 33 X 10 BFG All Terran tires. Mostly driven on pavement but set-up for serious off-roading. Tow Bar included. I’ve owned it for 20 years but I’m getting a little long in the tooth and it only gets driven a couple of hundred mile a year now. Time for someone else to enjoy it.”

ABOUT JEEP: 1951 Jeep Willys M38 Tactical Truck 1/4 Ton. The Willys M38 United States Army Jeep, also known as the Willys MC, replaced the World War II Willys MB and Ford GPW models. It was a 1/4 ton 4 × 4 utility truck manufactured between 1949 and 1952 with a total production of more than 60,000 units. The M38 was military version of the then-current civilian Jeep CJ-3A. The M38 differed from the CJ-3A in numerous ways, including a reinforced frame and suspension, waterproof 24-volt electrical system, sealed vent system for the engine, transmission, transfer case, fuel system and brake system. Some M38 jeeps were assigned to the Korean theater of operations, but the majority of vehicles used in that conflict were rebuilt WWII vintage. Approximately 2,300 M38 Jeeps were manufactured by Ford of Canada for Canadian Armed Forces in 1952, designated as the M38-CDN jeep. Its successor was Willys M38A1.
