Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. No combat/solid rims, but would make someone a good parade jeep.

Runs well, drives and stops. It’s a great reenacting or parade jeep. It has a machine gun mount on the fender step as well. It needs a little touching up here and there as seen in the photos. Come take a look.
The machine gun in the pictures is a wooden replica and is included.”
The rims look nicely polished.

(08/27/2014) This nice looking jeep is a combination of a CJ-2A and CJ-3B.
“Frame-Off Resto-Mod Using A 1948 Frame And 1953 Body.
Licensed And Titled As A 1948 Willys.
Selling this pristine 1948 Willy’s jeep. It’s a 1953 body on a 1948 frame…registered as a 1948. It has undergone a complete frame off restoration ( w/ complete list of all part’s and work orders). There is less than 350 miles on a rebuild motor with new block 225 V6. Wheels are US 16″ with 31″ A/T Bridgestone tires. Must see to appreciate.”

(08/01/2013) Here’s a rare, original owner CJ-2A with original bill of sale. The top looks like a new one. With 28,xxx miles I’d expect to see more interior wear.

It has no rust as it was always under roof and not run in salted roads. It has new tires, new seats, exhaust system and a new top. The engine is in great condition and runs well. ”

“Selling a 1949 Jeep CJ 3 A. It has no body rust and no frame cracks.
Full soft top and bikini top
ARB air lockers front and rear with 5:38 gears
Engine is a Ford 2.2 pinto motor that allows it to do 65mph (carefully)
Original T-90 3 speed and Dana 18 transfer case with warn overdrive giving it 12 speeds!
Dana 25 axle front and 44 rear with upgraded 11″ brakes.
31″ Procomp tires with most of their life left.
Good spare as well.
Includes jerry cans, warn winch, CB radio, swing out tire carrier.
Back seat with storage underneath and 4 lap belts
Jeep has no blinkers or hazards as they were not required in 1949. No parking brake either
Not recommended for new drivers as it takes some skill to shift old iron.
Own the coolest ride on the road or the trail
Tow bar on front and hi-lift jack. Tow it or drive it home today.
