About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(04/20/2014) “I have a 1950 Willys Jeep for sale. The jeep was recently painted on a galvanized body. It has a 302 V8 with a 4 speed toploader transmission. The frame is fitted with custom bumpers, power rack and pinion steering and autometer gauges.”
“1942 WW2 Jeep. It is Model GPW built by Ford and identical in every way to the Willys Model MB. Both Ford and Willys shared the WW2 production of 500,000 Jeeps almost equally. Ford had a policy of identifying virtually all of their parts including Bolts with the Ford script \”F\”. Because of this, a complete and original GPW will usually sell for a higher price than the comparable Willys. My GPW is serial number 10,100. Simply stated this is a very early WW2 Jeep and the 10,100th Jeep produced of a total Ford production of approximately 250,000 Jeeps. It was completed on March 25, 1942. The date is engraved on the original Ford data plate on the Glove box door. The body, floors and all metal are in excellent condition. There is no rust. The Jeep has been garaged since I\’ve owned it. Have Top/bows. The engine is original and is engraved GPW 10,100 on the block. The Frame is also engraved GPW 10,100. The Jeep cranks and starts like it should. It is a good driver as well. The Jeep has a gun mount for a 30 cal Browning MG. I have the Browning MG which is made from a Browning parts kit. It is correct in appearance, size and weight. The guts of the MG have been modified so the MG will not fire. The MG is not a Live gun. It is for display and is being sold separately for $1500″
“I have too many toys so i must sell a couple…I have a 1961 Jeep Willys 2 door wagon converted to a sedan delivery. Has the rat rod style look to it, with a newer patina paint job, semi gloss clear, and hand pinstriped all over. Fronts been subframed with camaro, back has been subframed with half ton chevy truck. Older rebuilt camaro 350 and 350 turbo. Very dependable and road worthy. Has disk brakes up front and are power, power steering. Tilt column, New gauges. Interior has been done, high back buckets out of king cab truck with stitched pinstripe on back of headrests. Has won a trophy at every car show ive attended with it. But its time to give it a new home and let someone else have as much fun with it as ive had. It attracts attention everywhere it goes…be prepared to spend time with on lookers! No low ballers please, this thing is rare and awesome.”
“Good luck trying to find another one like this. Even a project! RARE RARE RARE. This is the 170 model that has the larger 6 cylinder motor in it. Unlike the FC150, this will do 50 MPH and is a blast to drive.”
“The jeep is in VERY GOOD condition with a like new roof and rear bench seat.
Dark Green in color.
Original F-Head Hurricane motor with 6 volt electrics and a good battery. The F-Head engine is in excellent condition. It starts right up and runs very strong with no oil burning or leaking from the seals and gaskets.
The engine was rebuilt a few years ago by the person I bought it from. I rebuilt the carburetor 2 years ago.
The body has some scratches and dings and a small dent behind the fuel filler neck, but overall very good for the age. NO RUST.
The roof is about 3 years old and looks like new.
The transmission leaks, probably needs a new gasket.
The overdrive does not currently work, probably because the transmission leaks.
The speedometer does not currently work.
235/75-15 tires with 75% tread and snow studs. Side mount spare tire the same.
Has a Willy’s Jeep dealer “Extension Body ” for the rear of the jeep, very rare. Remove several bolts and the extension comes right off.
The jeep has been garaged kept while I have owned it.
Tow bar setup included.
Clear title in hand.”
“Ground up build 1953 Willy’s 3B. Everything new or rebuilt. Blown Small block BDS 4-71 Street charger. Turbo 350 automatic, all steel. Ron Francis Wiring, tilt column… too much to list.
Hugger Orange with gold pearl overlay.
Over 3000 miles on build.”
