UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,500.

This one is parade ready.

“completely solid MC M38 Army jeep, not a look alike. these were the direct decedent of the MB WWII JEEP, used during the Korean War and Vietnam, they were replaced by the M38A1 and M151. converted to 12volt. many new parts with mild restoration. runs drives great. you will see many willys for sale out there, but this is the real deal. $10500 cash or possible partial trade for something equally as cool. Bill of sale only as Georgia does not issue titles for vehicles this old, it is licensed and insured in my name. NO CARS, NO JUNK.”

1975 CJ-6 Kalamazoo, MI $17,900

• CATEGORIES: CJ-6 • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $17,900

“This Jeep was registered to the Georgia Forestry Department for most of its life. It had 58,827 miles on the odometer.

It sat for over 10 years in a barn before the owner sold it to the person before me. It has many new components, from seals to gas tank and many items in between. Runs and Drives very good. Being a southern Jeep, the body was very clean. New paint, factory Pewter Grey Metallic, looks very nice. 35″ Super Swampers (new) on New Mickey Thompson wheels. It does have fiberglass front fenders, both original fenders were bent over time.

304 AMC V-8, T-15 3 Speed Transmission, Dana 20 Transfer Case, Dana 30 front Axle & Dana 44 Rear Axle. I believe it has 3.73 gearing.

The Jeep CJ-6 was introduced for 1956, and was in production for just under 20 years. It was essentially identical to the classic CJ-5, just stretched by a massive 20 inches. There were 2800 made this last year of production for the US.

1973, when parent company AMC shoved a 304-cubic-inch V8 under the hoods of all CJ models. AMC also improved the rest of the vehicle by equipped heavier axles, bigger brakes and a wider track.

The CJ-6, moving just 50,172 units over the course of its two-decade life”

Looks like a good restoration.

“Willys Model M38A1 built in 1954. It was restored from an M38A1 that was untouched since its days in the US Army. When purchased, It still had OD paint and the hood and unit numbers were still visible. The body was very good.
The body metal is very good with no rust. This jeep has been garaged since owned. Have Top/bows.
Engine still at 24 volts. All engine accessories are correct. Cranks well, starts right up and runs good. Holds the road very well.
The Jeep has a period correct US Army Radio set with antenna.”
