Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This Jeepster looks solid.
“You are looking at a 1950 Willys Overland Jeepster, these were only made between 1948 and 1951. It has a 4 cyl flathead engine that runs great. 3 speed column shift. Good tires, rust free body just needs the final detailing. The paint is fair along with the interior. I bought two and one has to go.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000
The body looks good. It could use a parking brake and a new steering wheel. Has a 2A windshield, but that appears in good condition, too.

(10/14/2013) With its new body, this looks like a solid jeep. It has a f-head.

“1946 Willys Jeep for sale. Price is as is. Has 4 cyl Chevy Nova motor. Needs some work.”

This is missing some tool indents.
“I am selling my 1944 Willys Jeep. One of the cleaner Willys out there. The jeep runs great and is in good condition. It has a 4 cylinder, 3 speed trans L HEAD motor. The motor was fully rebuilt about 3 years ago and has been parked since. It does have a clean title. The jeep is 4WD. It has a tilt steering wheel installed and a back tow hitch and a front trailer hitch. I am including a brand new in the box top with doors and brand new wiper motors.The paint job is in good condition with no rust. The interior is in good condition but the back seats need to be redone. Not sure on the mileage because it has all new gauges but the current odometer says 10 miles. Also has new brakes.”

“I bought this in 1996 and have done all the work myself –except the rebuild of the engine.
Everything works (lights ,gauges,wipers,and 4×4 and it is 12 volt)
This Wagon was used in a movie in 2007 called When Love Concurs Paul . A DVD of the Movie will come with the sale.
It does have a broken drivers door window . and I do not have a key to the door locks
The tires are new and are BFG AT 33-9.50 they are great
Everything has been rebuilt or replaced.”

“i have a 1947 Willys CJ2A made in to a military jeep for sale, has 4k miles from restore date.
4 cyclinder 134 L-Head Engine 3Spd Transmission 4 X 4
Also has a 30 cal. replica machine gun, been restored.”

This looks good. The windshield is unusual.
“Open the garage and cruise the backroads! Be the only one on the block to to own an early CJ, this is the same thing your grandpa rode in. New tires, year old paint, new alternator, starts and runs great, 65 years old but looks great and works good, Climb a hill better than most newer vehicles or ride in a parade! Lots of time and money has been invested.”
