About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This sounds like a solid panel wagon, though needs some TLC.
“1948 Willys Overland Panel Delivery Hot Rod, truck has a 440hp motor with performer heads, cam, timing gear and intake, 3″ exhaust, too much to list come check it out price is firm but will consider intersting trades that are older than 1970. No Tire Kickers, this is an old truck, looks like an old truck, needs some tlc like an old truck”
(07/24/2012) Except for the giant hole in the dash, this looks pretty good for the price.
“1954 Willy’s High hood Jeep CJ3B
F-head motor, Winch, Tach, hitch, good frame & body.
4 spare wheels, roll bar & Soft top (not attached)
Clear title, current registration and insurance.
Starts easily and runs well, street legal.
This is an antique, not a highway vehicle.”
“1946 Willys
23,936 Miles
Runs great, shifts great, 4WD and 4WD Low gears work great.
Current License in California.
This is what I know. Willys built this model Jeep for the Military only from 1942 to 1945. Then in 1946 Willys offered this model to the public. However very few were sold because there was a glutton of Jeeps available through Military auctions.
Was this a Military or Civilian ? I don’t know.
This Jeep has spent almost all of its life on a ranch on San Diego County.
I just purchased a brand new fuel gauge that needs to be hooked up.
The only thing this jeep needs is a passenger side seat frame to match the drivers side.
And maybe a straight front bumper.
The value of these Jeeps are all over the place. This is no show car but it may very well be the best running and most reliable Jeep around. . . .”

“1948 Willys jeep CJ2A that has sat for about 4 years. I put new plugs, battery, master cylinder for the brakes and clutch, new fuel pump, and cleaned carburator and the the tank. The jeep runs and the motor is still strong. The jeep has good tires, rhino lined, new seat covers, seat belts, warn lockouts, tow bar and gun rack. The only think that is still wrong with jeep is the slave cylinder for the clutch is froze up from sitting. I have grown tired of working on it and putting money in it and decided to sell it. The guy I bought it off used it to take to Colorado and assured me that four wheel drive and transmission was all working good when parked. I went thru the gears and the transfer case goes in and out of four wheel easy. The last time it was on the road was 2008.
(05/23/2012) “The jeep is in great running condition, and still has the original L-134 inline four cylinder that starts right up and drives, no problems. The jeep shifts three on the tree. Two wheel drive. Shows 97 miles on the odometer. Always stored inside and the condition reflects that. It was partially restored by the previous owner, and received new paint and upholstery. Tires are in great shape. Let me know if you would like to come and see it.”
Rob was waiting for family in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, while on vacation when he spotted this nice looking truck.
He writes, “I went out into the parking lot to see if I could find some old Jeeps and there it was in the parking lot , nice looking truck. Did not find the owner. Hope the pictures turned out. Rob.”
“For sale: 1943 Willys Military Jeep , has V6 engine in car now, but have the original 4 cylinder engine on a stand. New interior , new tires. Runs good. Best offer.”
