About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1954 Willys M38A1 Jeep with Buick V-6, GM 3 spd, Dana 18 transfer case, 27 & 44 axles, power steering, power brakes, runs and drives, not all rusted out, tow bar. Would make a good hunting or back road rig. Title $1,950.00 OBO”
This FC supposedly spent it’s life running the railroad tracks. No railroad wheels left according to the seller.
“Hello Gearheads. Here is a very restorable, rare vehicle for your consideration. A ton of great parts, or easy restoration. It is a 1962 Jeep FC170 truck that is in great unrestored condition. It of course is 4wd, with a snow blade, ( hydraulics have been rebuilt )… Great driver that runs like a top. Only 72,983 actual miles. Ex- railroad truck that spent its life running up and down the tracks, has instruction plate, but no wheels for running the tracks ( sorry to all you hazzard boys ) Has new radiator, water pump, brakes, new brake and fuel lines. Completely rebuilt bed with a substantial metal plate floor ready for the toughest thing you can throw into it. Original red paint under primer, all wiring original and proofed with everything working. needs only tires for state inspection. easy to bring to tip top condition or use as is. Give me a call with any questions.”
This looks like a solid M-38. It still runs 24 volt.
“I am selling my 1951 military willys jeep. The tub is all original as is the motor and it has O rust. The floors are as solid as when they came off the production line. It is set up with the 24 volt system and has 2 new batteries. The tires and tubes are in brand new condition and i do have a spare tire and rim. It comes with a as i was told old new stock canvas top. The bows on the jeep are new and yet need to be painted. The wiring in the jeep does need to be redone as it is the original wiring. the wiring is good for starting and stopping the engine. The engine is solid and starts and runs beautifully. The high and low 4 wheel drive work great as does the 2 wheel drive. The jeep has a couple spots that for some odd reason were spray painted black but that is a easy fix with a can on military match spray paint. I am a ww2 reenactor and i was going to use this jeep but i decided to go with a motorcycle instead. If you have any questions please feel free to call me at 616-450-2194 ask for Tim. If you are a craigs list scam artist dont waste my time with your ass wipe offers. thanks for looking”
Put a nice paint job on this and it will be ready to go. Looks good. Given we live in Pasco, this can’t be too far from me.

(06/18/2012) This look alike a to-good-to-be-true ad. Possible scam.
