This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (11/22/2010) This looks like a worth project for the price (it doesn’t sound like there’s much to do)
“I got this on a trade I had visions of making a finished hot rod with it but I just dont have the time anymore. Its mounted and channeled over a S-10 frame with the 4.3 liter engine still in it. The engine still runs but there is no gas tank installed. There is a pretty fair amount of metal fab left, but if you have the skills needed for this project it would make a cool ride. There is minimal rust left on the body. The old floor was rotted out and a new floor put in by the previous owner. I have some more pics if needed. This is located in Broadhead WI which is about 1/2 hour west of Beloit , WI. I live in Sycamore, IL so anyone wanting to see will need to make arrangement with me to look at it.”
Here’s a stock wagon that runs.
“1948 Willys Overland Survivor, all original parts including hub caps. Great interior condition of seats and floor boards, also has third row seating for single seat in back. Flat 6 engine runs very smooth and starts immediately. Original paint with a very straight body. Asking $5,000 OBO. “This is a fully original 1949 Willy’s with clean title, civilian model with 12volt electric. Jeep has extesnion on back that can be taken off to reduce price. This Jeep has been great around the ranch and does need some body work. 16″ wheels but can trade out for 15″ both with desent tires. Breaks and front wheel cylender rebuit. Runs well just needs tinkering like any 1949 Jeep. Will take seriouse offers. No shipping, No dealers, In person only!!!!
