“This is a totally rebuilt and customized 1959 Willys CJ3. I bought this for my wife several years ago and she is too petite to drive it. The engine & transfer case were rebuilt. Frame is clean and coated, no rust. It has a fiberglass tub and stainless fasteners, metal hood. 2″ lift kit. 2 sets of fog lights. Custom front and rear bumper that holds spare tire, two Jerry Cans and Jack. Front bumper has mounts for tow bar. Electronic ignition, point & parts included. Electric wipers. There is an alloy fuel cell installed in the rear seat area. I also have a gas tank that will fit underneath if you want to install a rear seat that I will throw in. Have manuals also. The top is brand new. Custom bucket seats with competition seat belts. This is a very clean Willys, the only rust is on the rims where the water lays when it gets wet. I have over $7400 invested. Asking $6800.00 or best offer. No low ball offers. I don’t need to give it away. A must see to appreciate, you won’t find another one like this one. Feel free to ask question, I will help anyway I can. Email or Call 724 263 2404”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This sounds pretty solid. The seller notes in a comment, “This jeep is about 99% rust free original condition. There is a very small place in the floor under the tool box. The hat channels are free of rust. The bolt holes for the tire hanger were skimed over.”
“This is a 1963 Willys CJ3B Jeep in excellent condition for a jeep of it’s age. It is stock except for the steering wheel and tail lights. It has the 4 cyl F-134 engine and 3 speed trans with Hi and low 4wd. You don’t find many of these jeeps in this condition. It has only 30258 miles on a working speedometer. This jeep comes with a set of original GoodYear Suburbanite 760×15 Super Cushion tires, this is the same tires that were available from the factory on these jeeps.”

Sounds like a good rig. It smokes a little.
“This is a great old Willys CJ3b that I found and restored about 4 years ago. I found the Willys locally here in Anaheim CA, It was used mainly as a family camping rig through the 60s and 70s, it had been sitting in the side yard of a house in Anaheim for many years. Basically no rust to speak of. The body is really straight and clean origianal metal. I started with the mechanicals and rebuilt the brakes, the carb, new gas tank, new electric fuel pump, new ignition.. etc. I added a quart of oil and the ole OHC engine came right up! It starts and runs great, it smokes some on initial start/choke. Smokes a little under load. but performs perfect for my needs. The snow plow was an old Ebay item of hunk of metal rust that I shipped to CA from back East. I blasted and painted like new, and realized I had original serial # 150 Western Snow Plow! I spoke with a retired Western Engineer and he remember those first plows to come off the line, basically all hand built. that was fun talking to him. I spoke with current Western engineers, and they helped me engineer the upgrades to the plow. It now has full Hydrualics up/down and swivel. all new components and works great. The 1955 hard top was found in Sacramento CA and was blasted and painted with the body in 2008. Only surface rust, no major repairs required. I never finished installing windows in the top. I have the doors, but never finished restoring the rollup windows. The rig has a unique “Tuxedo” trim package front chrome bumper that is very cool. It has an original 1960s Smittlybuilt full cage. I installed new Bestop lowback front seats. I have the original heater parts, but never put it back in. I have used the Willys the last four years pushing snow around my cabin in Big Bear Lake, CA. Never had any issues with it. It always starts, and runs strong. It has origianl 60s mag wheels and four new all terain tires with chains. The rig has been garaged the last four years, only driven during the winter to push snow around the driveway and access roads. I usually keep it in 4-low, but I have occassionaly put in high gear to tootle around the neighborhood during the summer. it always turns heads and makes people smile. I would not recommend as a daily driver, but rather as a collectable conversation peice, and as a hell of a little work horse plow for a small property like mine. I had thoughts of going through the motor/rings to eleviate the smoking. but it runs so well, I never did it. I have had a great time with this rig, but it is time for me to move on to a new project. I know there are Jeep/Willys affectionados out there that will appreciate this little rig as much as me. Please let me know of any questions about it you may have. Really nice straight body/top. All metal . all original. I’m a big guy, and I did re-locate the driver seat back a few inches. other than that, she’s a stocker!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8900.
This looks good.
“Restored 1951 M38 Willy’s Army Jeep – Ser. No. 24,675 MFG 9-51The M38 only had a two year production run, during which time only 62,329 were built (compared with the nearly 650 thousand MBs and GPWs build during WWII). Has several unique characteristics compared to the WWII jeep. First with 24 volt electrical system, first one piece windshield, first to have 7×16 tires instead of 6×16, last and best of flat fendered jeeps, last of the flat head 4 cylinder engines, first jeep with true fording capabilties(sealed sparkplugs and distributer) when equipped with a snorkel and tail pipe extension and of course the removable tailgate.
Though restored, this has been changed to a 12 volt system and does not have the sealed(water proof) plugs. So here is an M38 that not only looks good, but is road ready.”
This looks solid.
“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep
Flat Head 4 cylinder, Transmission and 4 wheel drive system excellent working condition, was running well when last parked.
