Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looks good, but does need a little finishing.
“62 willys Jeep Wagon. It starts right up and runs great. 3 speed manual on the floor, factory snow plow and P.T.O winch, original form the factory. 35k original miles. It has been repainted and needs some finishing work on the interior and some wiring needs to be finished for the headlights. Very cool beach cruiser or off road vehicle. 4wd and everything works! I just need to clear some space in my driveway.”

Buz spotted this beautiful CJ-2A that will be auctioned August 20th. You can learn more about the auction at the Owls Head Transportation Museum or visit the museum, which is on Route 73 about 85 miles north of Portland, Maine. I think that will be a long drive for most of us!
It isn’t particularly stock, but it looks nice enough.

This looks like a well built rig. If the body is stretched, it isn’t obvious. The front fenders and hood might have been stretched though.
