UPDATE: New paint and a price bump.
(09/02/2010) This looks like a nice jeep. Note that it is missing a fuel inlet on the driver’s side of the body, there is no tailgate, and it appears to be missing the drain holes by the steps. This may be a MB body or a fiberglass body.
“Nice new paint job, Colorado Jeep with new tub and original engine, lock outs, new brakes, ready to drive, all lights work and a great summer time vehicle… Better than a 4 wheeler to drive in the woods!!! engine runs great and starts fast….. buyer can have choice of wide tires on jeep or original rims and tires that are 16 inch rims…..920-856-6539……please no low ball offers as this is not a fire sale, has good Wisconsin title and I will be driving and registering this if does not sell in June…..”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500.
“1949 Willys Wagon – 4WD
The 4WD is rare. 1949 was the first year that Willys introduced the 4WD to the Wagon.
The Wagon is in good running condition and is great for shows and Sunday driving.
A paint job would help improve the look of the Wagon.
The car comes with an overdrive (that is not installed) and some spares.
The car is a rare piece of history! This is care created the lineage that now boasts the various Jeep Cherokees.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000
(05/20/2011) The seller mentions this might be an old fire jeep, but the seller has no evidence of this.
“This is a near perfect example of a 1950 CJ3A. I bought it in Fresno Ca (still has the black CA plates but also has clear AZ title and plates) now my Son says “no you can’t take the grandaughter in that” and my big old belly rubs the steering wheel. So I am looking for a Jeep Wrangler or Polaris Ranger or something even more stable. This jeep has 18,000 miles on it, the only modifications from stock are: conversion to 12 V, roll bar, bikini top, k&n Air filiter, 5 new tires/rims (have stock rims), tow bar in front. There is absolutely no rust on this jeep, has a plate covering the hole in the left front fender where the siren went. has one dent in the left rear fender well, no other significant body damage. I don’t know if there is a problem with the charging system or ? but when the battery is charged this thing runs like a singer sewing machine. Top speed is less than 50 MPH. The brakes suck. as with all old jeeps the front brakes have thier issues, they work (sometimes too well) and try to lock up the front tires. After I bought this I showed it to my cousin in Bakersfield who is a retired Kern county Fire Capt. He stated that many of the county fire departments had these old jeeps for small back country fires but that they really weren’t used much. This is the only reason this old a jeep could be in this good of a condition with this low of miles. She is a beauty with absolutely no rust.
I really thought this would be such a hoot to take my granddaughter four wheeling in but; The Son says no, so she’s got to go..”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5900.
(05/28/2011) Here’s a nicely chopped wagon. I would like to see more pictures of the chopped area.
“I have a 1962 Jeep Willys Roadster 4×4. Originally was a wagon and has been converted to a convertible roadster. Awesome vehicle to cruise around town in, rides pretty smooth due to the longer wheelbase.Vehicle is STREET LEGAL and the tags are good till March 2013. Has Super Hurricane flat-top I6 motor that runs perfect! Runs as quiet as a brand new vehicle. Brakes work great and handles descent for a vehicle made in the 60’s. The 4wd also works excellent. Here is a list of some add-ons.
– 15×10 Eagle Alloy wheels
– 32″ Dunlop All Terrains…(great tread)
– Warn Premium hubs
– 200 watt CD player with AM-FM radio
– Street Legal
– Clear Blue Title”
UPDATE: Still Available
(01/03/2011) This looks real nice. The pics looks like they were taken on Tacoma’s north side which is bounded by South Puget Sound.
I worked for a short time near where these photos were taken at C.I. Shenanigans before going back to College to complete my undergrad degree at UPS. I knew the waterfront well, as I spent a lot of time riding my bike along the waterfront and into one of nicest city parks in the nation, Point Defiance Park.
“took this in part trade for a restored Model AA truck in 2009. I used it a couple of times but now I need my garage space back. This things a real hoot. Very smooth and quiet running. No squeaks or rattles. A great example of an unmolested jeep. What grabbed me was, it’s like a time machine, it’s upgraded with the stuff we used in the late ‘60’s and early ‘70’s. Has parts catalogues from early 70’s is seat storage compartment. It’s almost like it was parked in 1972 and found in 2009.
Has an unusual working winch with dual solenoids and Aux. light, removable tow bar, Solex carb, extra mounted coil, CB, converted to 12 volt (with alternator), wider tires and rims, rear swing away spare tire mount, full top, turn indicators.
Engine has had complete rebuild including stainless steel valves and hardened seats for unleaded gas. I added more out of habit, a new battery, HD shocks, plugs, NOS emergency brake shoes and oil change. I’ve encountered no problems with anything.
I joined my old high school friend and jeep nut from 40 yrs. ago on a camping trip in the cascades last summer with his family. Everyone had a ball using the jeep for getting more ice and marshmallows, driving around the campsite, and exploring logging roads with the grand kids. I’d forgotten how low geared, quiet and sure-footed these rigs were.

UPDATE: Still Available. Was priced at $3500.
(05/27/2011) This looks pretty good.
“I have a nice little 46 jeep that has had a lot done to it. First it has the L134 flat head 4, t-90 tranny, Dana 18 t-case, Dana 41 rear, Dana 27 front. W/ dualmatic hubs that spin prefect… Hard to find these days as most are bent from over tightening. It has a 12v converison, full set of auto meter gauges, newer 31in tires “95%” tread & nice rims, newer wiring harness. The jeep has a nice best-top soft top. The body is in great shape with typical rust by the hat channel… It’s a small amount! She runs great and is a fun driver, the title is good with current reg, as with anything that’s 65 years old it could use a couple of things. All in all the jeep is pretty much stock with some improvements that make it a whole lot more user friendly for the average person. NOTE: This jeep is not the normal abortion with 300lbs of weld holding the frame together and blown out EVERYTHING! The tranny and t-case both shift effortless.
