This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Its a 1947 Willys Cj2a. Has rebuilt inline 4cyl engine, new bestop softop, new paint job, all new interior. All brakes have been completely replaced, new drivshafts, new wheels and tires, comes with original wheels and tires, has been completely converted to 12v electrical system w/ a new alternator, and is stereo ready. Has a 4000lb PTO winch, w/ 200ft of cable, fully operable. Has recent tags and title in hand.”
The dash has been changed. I can’t tell if it is a replacement body or a replaced dash.

“1951 Willy CJ2a 4×4 / 350 V8 / 4-speed / high – low range. custom 2in steel roll cage / 4 – point harness front & rear. tires / 4 – 33in all terrain on steel rims / 2 – 14in & 2 16in sand tires. street legal / with off road lights. has been a fun and reliable on our trips to the desert and mountains. will consider trade for later modlel 4×4 cherokee.”

(01/18/2011) This rig looks ready to blast off. That looks like a Bobcat Fiberglass body to me.

UPDATE: Bill correctly notes that this is the same DJ-3A as pictured a few months ago, except that it has been painted and the price raised $100.
No motor. The body sure looks good. I don’t know what it takes to get this back over the border.

(11/24/2010) Just a few updates to this CJ-2A. This appears to have a MB/GPW windshield.
