This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1951 4 wheel drive Willy’s Jeep. Has a 327 V-8 with a high compression Air Research turbo, 2 speed power glide transmission with Teflon bands (built for racing), Also has a 3000 rpm stall converter. Comes with dessert track tires and a set of 13 plus paddle tires. Has bucket seats, roll cage and KC lights. For more pictures please email.”

UPDATE: Tom noted that this is no longer on KSL’s Website (and I confirmed it). I can only assume it sold, but that seems like a pretty quick sale given (only listed one day) the price.

I’m not sure I’ve seen that model of soft top. The side windows angle and the back area (can’t tell if there is a back or not) is pretty wide open. This looks like it a ‘lefty’ to me.

1968 Willy’s Jeep CJ-6 in excellent condition with a frame up restoration. Buick 225 V-6 engine w/T-14a tranny. Dana 27 front and Dana 44 Rear axle, with 3.73 gears. Runs great, no rust. Front seat is a rare bench with passenger, 60/40. Both front and rear seats have been reupholstered. 1. New wiring harness and fuse box, new rear lights,…”

Less than 1,000 miles since frame off restoration. 350 (balanced) Chevy motor, cam, headers, and 327 Corvette heads. 350 turbo trans, 9 inch Ford rear end, Mustang II front suspension and dropped spindles. Real lacewood vaneer outside panels. White wall tires. Has heater, but no air conditioning. Kenwood CD player, maple flooring, mahogony inside paneling. Runs & drives like a dream! Needs absolutely nothing! Always kept in a controlled environment, and has never seen rain!”
