(03/10/09) Here’s a great looking CJ-3B.  I’d like to see some more pics of it.

“Willys Jeep CJ-3B , Rebuilt Original 4 cylinder Drivetrain, Original 6 volt elec. System. Added 6 volt electric fuel pump. many new parts and new tires. It’s been in my family for over 40 years. 37,000 Miles, always kept indoors. My Mechanic says it needs to be driven more and I don’t have the time anymore for play. Email any questions you may have by replying or leave a phone number. I believe this is an ideal candidate for a total restoration to its original military appearance, which would at the least double it’s value, by ebay research.”

I ran across JP Magazine’s feature about the Olson’s ice racing jeep “Black Ice” today.  There are a variety of interesting and unusual ideas implemented in this custom rig that could probably be used for road, trail and off-road racing applications.  It’s a fun Jeep to check out.

(10/26/09) This still have the 6 volt system.  Unusual paint job.  Needs top.

“1949 jeepster that has a L head 4 cylinder engine and runs. And I have driven it up to two days ago, but rain came. It has been rattlecanned red so paint looks bad. Has a large long gouge on passenger side and rusted out areas in the rocker panels. Column shifter with an overdrive. Shifts very good. 2 wheel drive. And a very fun car to drive. Large area in back with a large back seat. Interior needs total restoration and top bows sandblasted and painted. Needs canvas top too. Didn’t need it in good weather. These are very rare and obviously hard to find. Might trade for an original CJ3B. or a MB or M38 (not a A1). Jeeps need to be complete and fairly good condition. Still 6 volt. Starts almost everytime on first or second try. I do perfer cash though.”

This looks like a very nice road and trail Jeep.  It has a solid fiberglass front that tilts forward.

UPDATE:  Now for sale here.

“54 Willys powered by a Ford 289. It has a 3 speed with a Dana overdrive, a new 4 core radiator and a new carb. It runs well and is a blast to drive. The rubber is in almost new condition and if you do get stuck the Warn winch will pull you out. It has a bikini top so if your going to drive it in the winter you best be a tough one.
