About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Brett and the Utah eWillys Bureau should be proud of this find. Check out the sort-of-custom body on this jeep. I’d like to check this out more closely to see exactly what’s left of the old body (if anything).
“1951 Willys Jeep. 283 V8 Chevy small block, 4 speed transmission with 33×12.50 tires. Custom built body, new corbeau seats with harnesses. Runs strong, new wiring, new gas tank. I never use it so it just sits in the garage. Time for it to go.”
“This is a Collectors 1952 Willys Jeep M38A1 with a yellow paint job that is a year old.
The seats were done year ago in camouflage red. Jeep has a 231 Buick V6 motor that is yellow to match paint and was installed about year ago. Power Steering was also added, plus the steering wheel has tilt. Jeep runs great and has been garaged every night at the Dealership. New BF Goodrich Tires and black rims, Paint and Interior are in Great Condition. Everything has been replaced and redone from Brakes, Paint, Interior, Exhaust. There has been lots of Nuts and Bolts that have been re chromed. The 4×4 works great with the 3 speed shifter with added overdrive lever. The Overdrive lever allows the Jeep to go on the Highway and will easy hit 75+ mph. Transmission is original on the Jeep, also a new wiring Kit was installed. Brand new Top is included with the Jeep. We can provide more pictures on request. There will be SALES TAX for Arizona residents only, all out of state residents will not pay sales tax but might have to pay sales tax in their own state. There will be no other fee’s attached with this auction. If you have any question please email. Thank you for checking out the Jeep!!

“original WWII willys slatgrill jeep, original go devil flathead 4cyl converted to 12 volt. T84 trans works good, 4wd, works good, no leaks, all original condition,”
(12/21/09) I doubt this will fetch the asking price, but it looks like a great restoration. That doesn’t look like an original color?
“cj5 complety restored to original. 200 miles since complete.Has been in family since new.Have owners manual also, also have hard top,unrestored.99 percent oem parts including engine parts.alot spent to make perfect.206-491-5283”
The body weaves and bobs a little bit and there’s plenty of minor welds on the inside of the fenders and hood, but otherwise this looks solid. It’s missing the driver’s side spare tire holder.
“For sale is my unique “lefty” 1948 Willy’s CJ2A. It has been a great CJ, but it is time for someone else to enjoy it and time for me to move onto another project. Brief history of what I know for sure. My Dad found it in a field in Wyoming and wanted to convert it to a hunting vehicle, but I talked him into restoring it. When he took possession, it was in pretty rough shape, so he did a frame off “garage” restoration in 1999-2000. I would estimate it to be about an 80% restoration. There are a few blemishes here and there, but overall the vehicle is in great shape. I requested not to have a complete restoration because I wanted to use it for what it was meant to be used for, fun! He re-welded the entire frame, rebuilt the original flat head engine, rebuilt the drivetrain, converted it over to a 12V electrical system, re-wired the entire vehicle, repainted it, reupholstered the two front seats, repositioned the spare tire carrier (added a rear tire/jerry can carrier- no jerry cans, sorry!), added a new Bestop Tiger Top with doors and just about everything else you would do in a restoration. I took possession of it in 2000 and used it as a daily driver for about a year. Since then I have only used it every now and again just for fun and to keep everything lubricated. Have used it maybe a half dozen times in light off-roading situations in the past 5 years, other than that, just normal street driving. Since I have owned it, it has always been garaged. The new non-directionals tires are mounted on the original wheels. The wheels have been powder coated and I put Firestone non-directionals on all four wheels and the spare about a year ago….”
