There’s been a variety of upgrades on this jeep.

“…  When we first got this jeep, it was in pretty rough shape and close to 100 holes were filled in on the body from various things being mounted/removed over the years (blackout lights, etc etc) Virtually all of the work to it was done by either myself, my stepbrother, or a pro shop. I cant remember exactly how many miles are on it “after build”, but I’m guessing the motor/rebuilt tranny has about 5k, the brake system (entirely replaced at time of conversion) about 2k, tires about 2k. again, this is a toy that was hardly ever used.

Here’s the parts list: Chevy 305 HO from a mid 80’s Camaro Z28 installed by Joe White’s Performance Automotive (THE place to go back in the day) motor had to be canted and fenders pushed out to make fit. remote oil and fuel filters, extra griffin aluminum racing radiator we never installed comes with it. the motor had less than 500 miles on it when we got it, Corvette clutch and pressure plate in 3 speed manual transmission, factory twin stick transfer case, custom rear drive shaft with CV joint built by Austin Drive Train, factory dana 25 front axle with Warn premium hubs, factory dana 30 rear axle with Detroit Locker, 5.13 gears front/rear, 11″ drum brake conversion all the way around (now it stops right!) with new master cylinder at time of install …..”

That’s one of the lowest prices I have seen for a nice Drag Jeep.  It sounds like the seller must sell this.

“My jeep has been completly restored from the ground up, the frame was sand blasted and coated. The body is under coated. All the running gear has been rebuilt, the motor was rebuilt completly, it is the original motor that came in the jeep when bought new,I am the second owner. I have installed newer seats front and back, new floor mats,I built a compartment between the seats with a locking top, it has 5 – 15″ wheels with open country tires, there is a swing away stair tire rack on the back. I installed a new top, it has a built in radio and cassette player with 4 speakers. It has been driven around town and in parades.”

The serial number of 154827 suggests this is actually a 1948 not a 1949. There’s been a great deal of work and money spent on this judging from the chrome and clean lines.

” Has a Pennsylvania clear title, not a reconstructed.  Vehicle is exceptionally clean, starting with the body: new all steel replica tub, front fenders, hood, grill assembly and 2-piece windshield from original vehicle. Has premium tailgate with Willy’s logo and shell has a glove box. There is no body filler on this vehicle.  Paint is acrylic enamel with hardener and gloss additive, wet sanded and buffed. “I have a 1946 Willys overland mb jeep. This is the military wrangler. This particular one is the first year of production of these vehicles for the publice while still implementing parts used on the military model. It is appx. 90% original with the updated 12 volt system. Tires that are less than 3 months old. There is no rust any where, and everything works. It is a perfect vehicle for driving on nice summer days, or if you have a place you can take it through the woods, you will never get stuck. It has the famous 4 cyl original Flathead motor that runs great. The suspensions and all other mechanical systems are in great shape. The 4 wheel drive will never let you down. I am only selling it to pay for an engagement ring and hopefully a wedding if everything goes to plan. I am looking to get 4300 out of it. Here’s a nice looking truck.

“This is a fully restored 1953 Flat Fender Willys Jeep Pickup. This truck was taken down to the frame and was sand blasted and painted. Body and Box were taken down to bare metal, repaired and dents removed. It was re-assembled with all new brakes, brake lines, and master cylinder. The wiring is factory after market. The chrome has been cleaned and rechromed or is new old stock. Interior is new black vynil. The engine was a running 4 cylinder “Hurricane” removed from another not so fortunate jeep from the same era. It has Warren Hubs and new tires.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $14,500

“Newly restored ”cloned Willys MB. This is a 1945 CJ2A modified to look like a 1944 MB. It is 99% done. It needs a little touch-up on the paint and a rear seat. I spent Thousands of dollars on new parts. I have all records of purchased items. I put one size larger tires on it to increase fuel mileage and travel speed. It runs and drives like new. The engine is smoke free and I changed the voltage to a 12-volt system for better lighting and dependability. I also added turn signals and a second rear brake light for safety. I also added new style seat belts to make it a safer vehicle. The entire Willys has been sandblasted primed and painted with late WW11 319 OD. I spent many hours disguising the CJ2A look. I would like to keep all the bags and supply’s that are all over it. The Shovel, Axe, Jerry can, rope and spare tire will stay with it.I still need to install the battery hold down. The top and seats are brand new, they are thicker than originals to make the ride a bit smoother. I also have a new glove box to install to make the dash look like the MB. The drive train is the way I bought it, so I don’t know how many miles are on them, but it goes down the road smooth.( I love it). The only reason for selling it is, I recently found a real 1942 GPW that needs restoring. I put about 1500 miles on it these past few months with no problems. The odometer reads about 7,000 miles. This is a nice vehicle that will last a long time with some care. Please call with any questions or if you want more pictures …. “For Sale is my 1953 Willys Pickup with many custom features.Has a fully custom powdercoated fully boxed chassis with Mustang 2 frontend and a Chris Alston 4 bar setup in the rear with a Ford 9″.Is complete with 4 wheel disc brakes and rolling on 20″ Billet Specialties rear and 18″fronts.Cab is chopped 3″ with suicide doors and shaved handles with all electrics including remotes for the doors and also the tilt bed.Bed is custom and is able to be raised with 2 linear actuators,tailgate is also electric.Engine is a Chevy 350 with a 6:71 Mooneyham teflon sealed Blower running 9% underdriven.Has all the goodies and was built specifically for the street and is a very driveable reliable street driven truck.
