About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1964 Jeep CJ5A Tuxedo Park. Very rare Jeep model. Original seats and original red/white color combo! Not original motor. It has a 225 V6 Dauntless in it with dual side exhaust. Has all the original, hard to find chrome pieces. Converted from column shift to 3spd floor shift. Has hi-lo 2wd/4wd gears. Runs, drives, stops great! Very nice parade jeep!”

UPDATE II: A reader got a response to the ad (for fun). We’ve seen similar scams in the past. Here is the text:
I’m selling it because my husband died 2 months ago (he had a heart attack) and it brings me bad memories, that’s the reason I want to sell it a.s.a.p.The total price is $6,800. No damage or hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained. I have clear title, without liens or loans on it, everything is under my name. Me and my son decided to sell the house and we moved to my parents house in Mason City, NE trying to start a new life. We need to meet up to my parents place or I can arrange delivery – it will cost the gas money and I will pay for it.
I want to use eBay Motors services (5 days of testing prior purchase) for the safety of both of us, so if you’re interested in purchasing, please provide me your full name for the bill of sale, your full address and a phone number so I can notify eBay that you’re selected as my possible buyer, and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure.
UPDATE: This owner has confirmed that this is a SCAM. This truck was listed on Craigslist in North Carolina and Florida. I expect it will pop up elsewhere.
“1962 Willys Pickup, Nicest around! Built as a driver (and she’s fun to drive, getting thumbs up whever she goes), she also shows well. She looks stock, but underneath she’s anything but.”
“jeep J-20 frame and running gear, Dana 60 rear end, Dana 44 front end, 4:10 gears, with Mosher axels, 30 spline with lockers, Chev 350 with Holly throttle body fuel inj., headers, roll cage, msd
ign., Turbo 400 trans., and much more!”
The body has had some body work, but I suspect all of our bodies have had some work, lol. I wonder if they have ever tried driving with that spare on the jeep. Having one M-151 ought to make it track a little odd.
“Wow only 2 owners the last 72 years!
Very, very original. Used on our farm for years. The original motor rebuilt in 2004. About 3500 miles put on since. Driven monthly! I love this Jeep and we are reluctantly selling. I’ll regret it I am sure.
Runs great and is awesome looking. Not hacked up like a lot of old CJ2A’s.
Call for all the details. Been in our family for over 30 years.
If I don’t sell it it’s still available for photo shoots! Been in a few advertisements over the years.”
“1952 Willys M38. Flat fender Korean War era Military jeep. Many OEM and NOS parts. Very good “driver” condition. Could be a class A restoration in a few long weekends. 134 “MC” stamped motor with T90 3 Speed transmission. 24v, blackout lights and all gauges work. Open to offers but please no low balls. I’m in no rush to sell.”
(03/16/2016) Looks like a nice jeep. Has updated engine.
“Hello, We are selling our 1952 Willys Jeep. It has a GM Buick Dauntless V-6 engine and runs like a top. With overdrive box, lock-out hubs, all in great working condition. This vehicle is a real “head-turner”. You can hardly get fuel without someone coming up to talk about it with you. We have mounted a spare tire to the back since these photos were taken. All steel body with NO !! rust.
Driven approx 50 miles a year for the last ten years. Collectors plates. Top is in excellent shape. Get ready for the parade season with this Jeep. Please, no “low price” offers, this is truly a one of a kind.
Thank you,”
