About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Craig spotted this one. There’s some jeep underneath. If it is really a ’53, it must be a CJ-3A or 3B. An M-38A1 would have the front springs reversed.

“Usually when we tell you about a mean Jeep it’s because someone has transformed it into the ultimate off-roader, but this complete custom built 1969 Jeep CJ5 is about teaching others a lesson on the streets. Beneath the wild green paint and lowered suspension lies some of the best Ford performance components you know. And once you look at the price, it’s not just a great Jeep or a great Cobra; it’s one amazing overall deal.
There is no pretending this is an off-road Jeep. The metallic green paint is out to intimidate the streets, not the trail. At has the kind of luster from the modern clearcoat that will act like a beacon attracting people from across the show field during the day, and at night, it catches the light and almost glows better than a neon sign. That’s why it has been applied over every inch of the exterior, including the bumpers, grille, and hood pins. The only thing to grab more attention than the green are those custom applies sliver ghost flames. But more than just paint, this one has some great custom street rod details, like the chopped windshield, lowered suspension, crystal clear headlights, and the Weld-style 15-inch alloys. “4.3 v6 rebuilt with high compression pistons, eddelbrock 550cfm carb, eddelbrock 550cfm carb, powersteering, headers, 6a msd ignition, 3 core aluminum radiator, 200r transmission with mods, Hurst shifter, high pressure fuel pump, sem and por painted frame and under body, many extras, near completion. I am selling due to no extra time to work on nor extra space to store. Little flexibility on price.”
UPDATE: Yes, not a misprint: 6.5HP … This has been updated with what might be a lawnmower engine. And what the heck is on the inside of the hood??
“1952 willys with 6.5 hp predetor
Runs and drives low and high gear forward and reverse shifts like a normal standard but without clutch. Sometimes the chain will fall off but if you take your time giving it gas it works ok.
Has radio and towbar for 2 inch ball just something for a decoration in the yard the kids can play with I guess. No title has vin.
