This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Looks like the body is on another chassis.

(12/04/2015) The rear of a CJ-5 body has been melded onto the body.

(11/24/2015) It has an identity all its own.
“This 1947 Willy sits on a Chevy frame and has a 327 motor with 4 barrel carb. Tires are like new and comes with a full size spare to match. Clean inside and out, and ready for the road.”
Seth checked out this 2A-sort-of-turned-into-a-3B. He understandably decided to pass on purchasing it, but thought these photos were worth sharing.
Marty checked out this jeep yesterday. He was most curious about the hardtop and got a bunch of photos of it for us. He believes the hardtop was a custom creation, but well done. The curves and drain edge are a nice touch, too. As for the CJ-2A, there’s not much left. The seller believes there is plenty of value, but Marty smartly disagreed.

This is probably just a modified DJ-5, but given the rear does’ have the standard wheel well on the outside (it covers the wheel, which is unusual). May be something unique here.

How about this unusual CJ.
“This is a custom built 46 Willys CJ 2a. has a 46 Ford Cab custom built into the body. Engine is completely rebuilt. new brakes. New clutch, new master cyl. This is a very unique willlys that was custom built 20 years ago. It has been driven appx 1000 miles since built. One of a kind !!”

This was auctioned off on Saturday, November 7th. It has some interesting modifications. The jeep was owned and auctioned by the city of Tulsa.
